ودّع وزير البلديات والإسكان ماجد الحقيل اليوم (الخميس) المهندس صالح التركي، بعد انتهاء الفترة الثانية من تكليفه أميناً لأمانة محافظة جدة، مثمناً مسيرته التي امتدت لنحو ثمانية أعوام في قيادة العمل البلدي بالمحافظة.
إشادة وزارية بمسيرة الإنجاز
وقال الحقيل، عبر حسابه الرسمي في منصة «إكس»، في منشور أرفقه بصورة تجمعه بالتركي: «نودّع اليوم معالي أخي صالح التركي بعد رحلة حافلة بالإنجازات والعطاء.. على مدى 8 سنوات، قاد مسيرة تطويرية في أمانة جدة أثمرت مبادرات نوعية وخدمات لامست حياة الناس، وأسهمت في تعزيز رفاهية المجتمع والارتقاء بالمشهد الحضري»، متمنياً له التوفيق في مسيرته القادمة.
8 سنوات من تطوير المشهد الحضري
ويُعد التركي من أبرز القيادات التنفيذية في القطاع البلدي، إذ تولى أمانة جدة منذ عام 2018، وقاد خلالها مرحلة إعادة هيكلة وتطوير انسجاماً مع مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030، قبل أن يُمدد له لفترة ثانية.
وخلال فترة إدارته، ارتبط اسمه بحزمة من المبادرات، من أبرزها تحسين المشهد الحضري، ومعالجة التشوه البصري، وتطوير البنية التحتية والخدمات البلدية، إلى جانب تعزيز الشراكات مع القطاع الخاص، ودفع مسار التحول الرقمي، بما أسهم في رفع جودة الحياة في المدينة.
تحديات مستمرة وملفات معقدة
وشهدت الأمانة خلال فترة إدارته التعامل مع ملفات متعددة، من بينها معالجة آثار السيول والبنية التحتية المرتبطة بها، وتنظيم الأحياء العشوائية وإعادة تطويرها، إضافة إلى تحسين مستوى الخدمات البلدية في ظل التوسع العمراني والسكاني الذي تشهده جدة.
من القطاع الخاص إلى العمل البلدي
وينتمي التركي إلى خلفية إدارية واقتصادية، إذ برز اسمه في القطاع الخاص من خلال رئاسته لمجلس إدارة مجموعة نسما القابضة، قبل انتقاله إلى العمل الحكومي، حاملاً خبرات في إدارة المشاريع الكبرى والتشغيل المؤسسي.
ويُعرف بأسلوب إداري يرتكز على الحوكمة والانضباط المؤسسي، مع توجه لتسريع الإنجاز وتمكين الكفاءات، بما في ذلك دعم مشاركة الكوادر الوطنية في مواقع قيادية داخل منظومة الأمانة.
The Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Majid Al-Hoqail, today (Thursday) bid farewell to Engineer Saleh Al-Turki after the completion of his second term as Secretary of the Jeddah Municipality, appreciating his journey that spanned nearly eight years in leading municipal work in the province.

Al-Hoqail said, through his official account on the “X” platform, in a post accompanied by a picture of him with Al-Turki: “Today we bid farewell to my esteemed brother Saleh Al-Turki after a journey full of achievements and contributions.. Over the course of 8 years, he led a developmental journey in the Jeddah Municipality that resulted in quality initiatives and services that touched people’s lives, contributing to enhancing community well-being and elevating the urban scene,” wishing him success in his future endeavors.
8 Years of Urban Development
Al-Turki is considered one of the prominent executive leaders in the municipal sector, having held the position of Secretary of Jeddah since 2018, during which he led a phase of restructuring and development in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, before being extended for a second term.
During his tenure, his name became associated with a package of initiatives, most notably improving the urban scene, addressing visual distortion, developing infrastructure and municipal services, as well as enhancing partnerships with the private sector and advancing the digital transformation, which contributed to raising the quality of life in the city.
Ongoing Challenges and Complex Issues
During his management, the municipality dealt with multiple issues, including addressing the impacts of floods and the associated infrastructure, organizing and redeveloping informal neighborhoods, in addition to improving the level of municipal services amid the urban and population expansion witnessed by Jeddah.
From the Private Sector to Municipal Work
Al-Turki comes from an administrative and economic background, having made a name for himself in the private sector through his chairmanship of the Board of Directors of Nesma Holding Group, before transitioning to government work, bringing with him experience in managing major projects and institutional operations.
He is known for a management style based on governance and institutional discipline, with a focus on accelerating achievement and empowering competencies, including supporting the participation of national cadres in leadership positions within the municipality’s system.
