ويأتي هذا التتويج امتداداً لمسيرة مميزة للأندية السعودية في البطولة، التي خاضت خلالها 16 نهائياً، حققت الفوز في 8 منها، مقابل 8 مرات وصافة، ما يعكس الحضور التنافسي القوي للمملكة على الساحة الآسيوية.

وواصل الأهلي تأكيد تفوقه بعد فوزه على ماتشيدا زيليفيا الياباني في النهائي، ليعزز مكانته بين كبار القارة، ويمنح جماهيره إنجازاً تاريخياً جديداً يُضاف إلى سجل «قلعة الكؤوس».

This victory comes as a continuation of a distinguished journey for Saudi clubs in the tournament, which have reached the finals 16 times, winning 8 of them, alongside 8 runner-up finishes, reflecting the strong competitive presence of the Kingdom on the Asian stage.
