غموض في مشاركة فانس.. وإيران تربط مفاوضات إسلام آباد برفع الحصار – أخبار السعودية
فيما لا تزال المواقف الإيرانية غير واضحة بشأن الموافقة على مشاركة وفدها في مفاوضات إسلام آباد، تضاربت الأنباء حول مشاركة نائب الرئيس الأمريكي جي دي فانس في الجولة الثانية من المحادثات بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران، المقررة مساء غد الاثنين، والتي تهدف إلى التوصل إلى اتفاق ينهي الحرب مع إيران.
وقال الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، في تصريح لشبكة «إي بي سي نيوز»، إن فانس لن يقود الوفد الأمريكي المتجه إلى باكستان للتفاوض مع إيران لأسباب أمنية، مضيفاً: «لم يتمكن جهاز الخدمة السرية من التجهيز للرحلة خلال وقت قصير، قبل 24 ساعة فقط، ولذلك لن يذهب لأسباب أمنية.. جي دي رائع».
البيت الأبيض يؤكد مشاركة فانس
في المقابل، قال مسؤول أمريكي إن نائب الرئيس سيتوجه إلى إسلام آباد برفقة المبعوثين الخاصين ستيف ويتكوف وجاريد كوشنر. كما ذكر المندوب الأمريكي لدى الأمم المتحدة مايك والتز أن فانس سيقود وفد واشنطن في مفاوضات الاثنين، وهو ما عززته تصريحات للبيت الأبيض أكدت حضوره الجولة القادمة إلى جانب ويتكوف وكوشنر.
من جانبها، أفادت وكالة «تسنيم» الإيرانية شبه الرسمية بأن طهران لم تتخذ قراراً بعد بإرسال وفد تفاوضي إلى إسلام آباد، في ظل استمرار الحصار البحري، مشيرة إلى استمرار تبادل الرسائل بين إيران والولايات المتحدة عبر الوسيط الباكستاني خلال الأيام الأخيرة، عقب انتهاء الجولة الأولى من المفاوضات.
شروط إيرانية للمشاركة
وأوضحت الوكالة أن تبادل الرسائل يُعد امتداداً للمسار الذي جرى خلال الجولة الأولى، والتي انتهت بالفشل نتيجة ما وصفته بـ«الطموحات الأمريكية المبالغ فيها». وأضافت أن الوسيط الباكستاني نقل مجدداً رسائل متبادلة خلال الفترة الأخيرة.
ونقلت عن الفريق الإيراني تأكيده أنه «طالما ظل إعلان الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب بشأن الحصار البحري قائماً، فلن تكون هناك أي مفاوضات».
إجراءات أمنية باكستانية
في الوقت ذاته، أعلنت شرطة إسلام آباد إغلاق «المنطقة الحمراء» بالكامل أمام حركة المرور حتى إشعار آخر، تزامناً مع وصول وفود أجنبية. ودعت المواطنين إلى استخدام طرق بديلة والتعاون مع الجهات المختصة لضمان انسيابية الحركة والحفاظ على الأمن.
كما أعلنت إدارتا إسلام آباد وروالبندي تعليقاً فورياً لحركة النقل العام ونقل البضائع في المدينتين، فيما أكد نائب مفوض شرطة إسلام آباد، عبر حسابه في منصة «إكس»، تعليق حركة النقل الثقيل والعام حتى إشعار آخر، داعياً المواطنين إلى التعاون مع الجهات الأمنية.
وصول وفد أمني أمريكي
في السياق ذاته، أفادت قناة «جيو نيوز» الباكستانية بوصول فريق تمهيدي من الولايات المتحدة إلى إسلام آباد، مع استعداد باكستان لاستضافة الجولة الثانية من المحادثات بين واشنطن وطهران.
وأوضحت أن السلطات شددت الإجراءات الأمنية في العاصمة، وأغلقت المنطقة الحمراء، ضمن ترتيبات استقبال الوفود الأجنبية، فيما ذكر صحفي باكستاني أن المفتش العام لشرطة إسلام آباد زار المنطقة الحمراء وفندق «سيرينا» المتوقع أن يستضيف المفاوضات.
While Iranian positions remain unclear regarding the approval of its delegation’s participation in the Islamabad negotiations, reports have conflicted about the participation of U.S. Vice President JD Vance in the second round of talks between the United States and Iran, scheduled for tomorrow evening, Monday, which aims to reach an agreement to end the war with Iran.
U.S. President Donald Trump stated in an interview with ABC News that Vance will not lead the U.S. delegation heading to Pakistan to negotiate with Iran for security reasons, adding, “The Secret Service was unable to prepare for the trip on short notice, just 24 hours in advance, so he won’t go for security reasons… JD is great.”
The White House Confirms Vance’s Participation
In contrast, an American official stated that the Vice President will head to Islamabad accompanied by special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Wallace also mentioned that Vance will lead the Washington delegation in Monday’s negotiations, which was reinforced by statements from the White House confirming his attendance at the upcoming round alongside Witkoff and Kushner.
For its part, the semi-official Iranian news agency Tasnim reported that Tehran has not yet made a decision to send a negotiating delegation to Islamabad, amid the ongoing maritime blockade, noting that messages continue to be exchanged between Iran and the United States through the Pakistani mediator in recent days, following the conclusion of the first round of negotiations.
Iranian Conditions for Participation
The agency clarified that the exchange of messages is an extension of the process that took place during the first round, which ended in failure due to what it described as “exaggerated American ambitions.” It added that the Pakistani mediator has once again conveyed exchanged messages in recent times.
It quoted the Iranian team confirming that “as long as U.S. President Donald Trump’s announcement regarding the maritime blockade remains in effect, there will be no negotiations.”
Pakistani Security Measures
At the same time, the Islamabad police announced the complete closure of the “Red Zone” to traffic until further notice, coinciding with the arrival of foreign delegations. They urged citizens to use alternative routes and cooperate with the relevant authorities to ensure smooth movement and maintain security.
The administrations of Islamabad and Rawalpindi also announced an immediate suspension of public transport and cargo transport in the two cities, while the Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad Police confirmed via his account on the X platform the suspension of heavy and public transport until further notice, calling on citizens to cooperate with security authorities.
Arrival of a U.S. Security Delegation
In the same context, Pakistani channel Geo News reported the arrival of a preliminary team from the United States in Islamabad, as Pakistan prepares to host the second round of talks between Washington and Tehran.
It clarified that authorities have tightened security measures in the capital and closed the Red Zone as part of the arrangements for receiving foreign delegations, while a Pakistani journalist mentioned that the Inspector General of Islamabad Police visited the Red Zone and the Serena Hotel, which is expected to host the negotiations.
