عشت أجواء حفل الزواج الذي أقامه فنان العرب محمد عبده لنجله بدر عبر المقاطع التي انتشرت في وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، وكأن «أبو نورة» أراد أن يشارك جمهوره البهجة كما يقدمها لهم في أغانيه !
بدا لي محمد عبده وكأنه العريس، فقد كان متأنقاً متألقاً مبتهجاً، يطير كالفراشة في بستان من الأزهار، يعتني بضيوفه ويشارك بكل حيوية الفرق الشعبية في تقديم ألوانها التي جمعت أطياف كل مناطق الوطن، كما قدم دائماً فنه بكل أطياف الوطن، لم يكن حفلاً للابن بدر، بل كان حفلاً لكل محبي الأب محمد، الذي ما زال متربعاً على هرم الأغنية السعودية، يقدم فناً لا يشيخ، ويبني إرثاً لا يُنسى !
وفي المرات المعدودة التي قابلت فيها محمد عبده أو جالسته، لم أجده سوى إنسان رقيق متواضع، قابلته لأول مرة في دعوة عشاء محفوفة برفقة الراحلين العزيزين محمد صادق دياب وسامي خميس، رحمهما الله، وسمعت منه يومها قصته الطريفة مع ابنته عندما عنّفت السائق لأنه جاء ليصطحبهم من المدرسة بسيارة قديمة، فقام في اليوم التالي بقيادة سيارة هايلوكس بنفسه وأوقفها أمام باب المدرسة ليلقنها درساً في التواضع !
في بداية حياتي الصحفية، كتبت مقالاً عنه في صحيفة الأنباء الكويتية، ففوجئت بتلقي رسالة رقيقة منه تعبر عن شكره وتقديره لمشاعري في المقال، وفي آخر لقاء معه في تبوك، قبل أن يقدم أوبريتاً وطنياً أمام خادم الحرمين الشريفين، جلست معه وصديقه الزميل العزيز إدريس الدريس، حيث استعرضا ذكرياتهما التي لم تخل من القصص الطريفة عن المقالب والمعاكسات الصحفية، التي كشفت لي جانباً آخر من شخصية محمد عبده !
باختصار.. محمد عبده فنان رسم فنه بكل ألوان الوطن، فاكتسب محبة امتدت لكل أرجاء الوطن !
I experienced the atmosphere of the wedding celebration that Arab artist Mohammed Abdu held for his son Badr through the clips that spread on social media, as if “Abu Noura” wanted to share the joy with his audience just as he presents it to them in his songs!
Mohammed Abdu seemed to me like the groom; he was elegant, radiant, and joyful, fluttering like a butterfly in a garden of flowers, taking care of his guests and energetically participating with the folk groups in presenting their performances that gathered the colors of all regions of the homeland. Just as he has always presented his art in all its diversity, this was not just a celebration for his son Badr, but a celebration for all the fans of the father Mohammed, who still reigns at the top of Saudi music, presenting art that never ages and building an unforgettable legacy!
In the few times I met or sat with Mohammed Abdu, I found him to be nothing but a gentle and humble person. I first met him at a dinner invitation surrounded by the late dear ones Mohammed Sadiq Diab and Sami Khamees, may they rest in peace. That day, I heard his amusing story about his daughter when she scolded the driver for coming to pick them up from school in an old car. The next day, he drove a Hilux himself and parked it in front of the school to teach her a lesson in humility!
At the beginning of my journalistic career, I wrote an article about him in Al-Anbaa newspaper in Kuwait, and I was surprised to receive a sweet message from him expressing his gratitude and appreciation for my feelings in the article. In my last meeting with him in Tabuk, before he presented a national operetta in front of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, I sat with him and my dear colleague Idris Al-Drees, where they reminisced about their memories, which were not without amusing stories about pranks and journalistic flirtations, revealing another side of Mohammed Abdu’s personality!
In short, Mohammed Abdu is an artist who has painted his art in all the colors of the homeland, gaining love that has spread throughout the entire country!
