واشنطن وطهران على حافة المواجهة.. مفاوضات مرتقبة في إسلام أباد قبل انتهاء الهدنة – أخبار السعودية
تستعد الولايات المتحدة لإرسال نائب الرئيس جيه دي فانس إلى العاصمة الباكستانية إسلام أباد، في زيارة مرتقبة تهدف إلى إجراء محادثات مع إيران بشأن التوصل إلى اتفاق محتمل ينهي الحرب، وذلك بالتزامن مع اقتراب انتهاء مهلة وقف إطلاق النار، حسبما أفاد موقع أكسوس.
وتأتي هذه التحركات في وقت حرج، إذ يوشك وقف إطلاق النار على الانتهاء، بينما لوّح الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب بإمكانية استئناف العمليات العسكرية، بما في ذلك استهداف منشآت حيوية داخل إيران، في حال فشل التوصل إلى اتفاق.
ورغم ضيق الوقت المتبقي، تشير التقديرات إلى صعوبة التوصل إلى اتفاق شامل، إلّا أن الإدارة الأمريكية قد تلجأ إلى تمديد المهلة في حال ظهور مؤشرات على تقدم في المفاوضات، خصوصاً بعد أن ألمح ترمب إلى منح وقت إضافي يتجاوز الجدول الزمني الأصلي.
كواليس التحرك الدبلوماسي
وخلف الأبواب المغلقة، انتظر البيت الأبيض، طوال أمس (الإثنين)، إشارة من طهران تؤكد مشاركتها في المحادثات، فيما ترددت إيران – بحسب مصادر- في البداية تحت ضغط من الحرس الثوري، الذي طالب بعدم الدخول في مفاوضات قبل رفع الحصار الأمريكي.
وفي المقابل، مارست كل من باكستان ومصر وتركيا ضغوطاً دبلوماسية لدفع طهران إلى المشاركة، وهو ما تحقق لاحقاً بعد حصول الوفد الإيراني على الضوء الأخضر من المرشد الأعلى مساء الإثنين.
ومن المتوقع أن يغادر فانس إلى إسلام أباد، صباح (الثلاثاء)، فيما يُرجّح أن ينضم إليه مبعوثا ترمب، ستيف ويتكوف وجاريد كوشنر، للمشاركة في هذه المحادثات الحساسة، فيما أكد مصدر رسمي باكستاني أن وفدي أمريكا وإيران سيصلان، اليوم، إلى إسلام أباد في وقت متزامن.
موقف إيراني متشدد
في السياق ذاته، أكد رئيس البرلمان الإيراني محمد باقر قاليباف رفض بلاده التفاوض تحت الضغط، متهماً واشنطن بالسعي لتحويل المفاوضات إلى «استسلام».
وأشار قاليباف عبر منصة “إكس” إلى أن إيران مستعدة لكشف «أوراق جديدة» في ساحة المعركة، في إشارة إلى إمكانية التصعيد العسكري إذا استمرت الضغوط الأمركية.
اضطراب الملاحة في مضيق هرمز
بالتوازي مع التصعيد السياسي، يشهد مضيق هرمز توتراً غير مسبوق، إذ أظهرت بيانات تتبع السفن محاولة 3 سفن عبور المضيق فجر الثلاثاء، في ظل الحصار المفروض على هذا الممر الاستراتيجي.
وقد تمكنت سفينة إيرانية من عبور المضيق قبل أن تتوقف عن إرسال إشاراتها، ما أثار مخاوف بشأن مصيرها، خصوصاً بعد احتجاز البحرية الأمريكية سفينة إيرانية أخرى أخيراً.
في المقابل، عبرت سفن أخرى لا ترتبط بإيران المضيق باتجاه خليج عُمان، فيما لا تزال حركة الملاحة عموماً شبه مشلولة، مع بقاء نحو 800 سفينة عالقة في الخليج العربي.
توترات متصاعدة ومخاطر متزايدة
وتشهد الملاحة في المضيق حالة من عدم الاستقرار منذ بدء سريان وقف إطلاق النار، إذ تكررت حوادث إطلاق النار على سفن حاولت العبور، ما أجبر بعضها على التراجع.
وفي تطور لافت، حذّرت شركة يونانية متخصصة في إدارة المخاطر البحرية من عمليات احتيال تستهدف شركات الشحن، عبر رسائل مزيفة تطالب بدفع رسوم عبور بعملات مشفرة مقابل ضمان المرور الآمن، مؤكدة أن هذه الرسائل لا علاقة لها بالسلطات الإيرانية.
ومع استمرار الحصار الأمريكي، وتصلّب الموقف الإيراني، تبقى الأنظار متجهة نحو محادثات إسلام أباد، التي قد تحدد مسار المرحلة المقبلة إما تهدئة مؤقتة عبر اتفاق جديد، أو انزلاق نحو تصعيد عسكري أوسع في المنطقة.

This move comes at a critical time, as the ceasefire is about to expire, while U.S. President Donald Trump has hinted at the possibility of resuming military operations, including targeting vital facilities inside Iran, should an agreement fail to materialize.
Despite the limited time remaining, estimates suggest that reaching a comprehensive agreement is difficult; however, the U.S. administration may resort to extending the deadline if signs of progress in negotiations emerge, especially after Trump hinted at granting additional time beyond the original timeline.
Behind the Scenes of Diplomatic Moves
Behind closed doors, the White House waited all day yesterday (Monday) for a signal from Tehran confirming its participation in the talks, while Iran hesitated initially under pressure from the Revolutionary Guard, which demanded not to enter negotiations before lifting the U.S. blockade.
In contrast, both Pakistan, Egypt, and Turkey exerted diplomatic pressure to push Tehran to participate, which was later achieved after the Iranian delegation received the green light from the Supreme Leader on Monday evening.
Vance is expected to depart for Islamabad on Tuesday morning, with Trump’s envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, likely to join him for these sensitive talks, while a Pakistani official source confirmed that the U.S. and Iranian delegations will arrive in Islamabad simultaneously today.
Iran’s Hardline Stance
In this context, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf confirmed his country’s rejection of negotiating under pressure, accusing Washington of seeking to turn negotiations into “surrender.”
Qalibaf indicated via the “X” platform that Iran is ready to reveal “new cards” on the battlefield, referring to the possibility of military escalation if U.S. pressures continue.
Disruption of Navigation in the Strait of Hormuz
Alongside the political escalation, the Strait of Hormuz is witnessing unprecedented tension, as ship tracking data showed three ships attempting to cross the strait early Tuesday amid the blockade imposed on this strategic passage.
An Iranian ship managed to cross the strait before it stopped sending signals, raising concerns about its fate, especially after the U.S. Navy recently detained another Iranian vessel.
In contrast, other ships not linked to Iran crossed the strait towards the Gulf of Oman, while maritime traffic remains largely paralyzed, with around 800 ships stranded in the Arabian Gulf.
Rising Tensions and Increasing Risks
Navigation in the strait has been unstable since the ceasefire came into effect, with repeated incidents of gunfire on ships attempting to cross, forcing some to retreat.
In a notable development, a Greek company specializing in maritime risk management warned of scams targeting shipping companies through fake messages demanding payment of crossing fees in cryptocurrencies for guaranteed safe passage, confirming that these messages have no connection to Iranian authorities.
With the U.S. blockade continuing and Iran’s hardline stance, all eyes remain on the Islamabad talks, which could determine the course of the next phase, either a temporary calm through a new agreement or a slide towards broader military escalation in the region.
