دب يهاجم جنديين أمريكيين خلال تدريب عسكري في ألاسكا – أخبار السعودية
أعلن الجيش الأمريكي أن جنديين أُصيبا بعد تعرضهما لهجوم من دب بني خلال تدريب عسكري في منطقة جبلية قرب مدينة أنكوراج في ولاية ألاسكا، وذلك أثناء مشاركتهما في تمرين ميداني على الملاحة البرية.
وأوضح البيان أن الحادثة وقعت يوم الخميس داخل وادي القطب الشمالي، ضمن نطاق منطقة تدريب تابعة لقاعدة عسكرية مشتركة، إذ كان الجنديان ينفذان نشاطاً تدريبياً في بيئة طبيعية مفتوحة.
وذكر مسؤولون عسكريون أن المصابين تلقيا الرعاية الطبية اللازمة حتى يوم الجمعة، دون الكشف عن تفاصيل حالتهما الصحية، وذلك إلى حين إبلاغ ذويهما بشكل رسمي. كما أشاروا إلى أن التحقيق في الحادثة لا يزال مستمراً بسبب محدودية المعلومات المتاحة حتى الآن.
وبيّن أحد المسؤولين أن الجنديين استخدما رذاذ الفلفل في محاولة لإبعاد الدب أثناء المواجهة، في محاولة للسيطرة على الموقف.
وأكدت متحدثة عسكرية أن سلامة الجنود تمثل أولوية قصوى، مشيرة إلى أن التحقيقات تجري بالتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة بالحياة البرية لضمان أمن الأفراد العاملين في المنطقة ومنع تكرار مثل هذه الحوادث مستقبلاً.
The U.S. Army announced that two soldiers were injured after being attacked by a brown bear during military training in a mountainous area near Anchorage, Alaska, while participating in a field exercise on land navigation.
The statement clarified that the incident occurred on Thursday within the Arctic Valley, within the training area of a joint military base, where the soldiers were conducting training activities in an open natural environment.
Military officials mentioned that the injured received necessary medical care until Friday, without disclosing details about their health status, until their families were officially informed. They also noted that the investigation into the incident is still ongoing due to the limited information available so far.
One official indicated that the soldiers used pepper spray in an attempt to deter the bear during the encounter, trying to regain control of the situation.
A military spokesperson confirmed that the safety of the soldiers is a top priority, noting that investigations are being conducted in coordination with wildlife authorities to ensure the safety of personnel working in the area and to prevent the recurrence of such incidents in the future.
