البديوي: 146 مليار دولار حجم التجارة البينية بين دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي – أخبار السعودية
أكد الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية جاسم البديوي، أن الإنجازات التي تحققت على صعيد نمو التجارة البينية بين دول مجلس التعاون أكبر دليل على تذليل العديد من التحديات التي تواجه التجارة البينية بين دول المجلس، لافتاً إلى أنه بلغ حجم التجارة البينية بين دول المجلس عام 2024 نحو 146 مليار دولار، وبنسبة نموٍ سنوي بلغت 9.8%؛ ما يؤكد تنامي قوة التبادل التجاري الخليجي واتساع نطاقه.
دور حيوي
وذكر البديوي، خلال اللقاء التشاوري الرابع عشر بين وزراء التجارة، ورؤساء الاتحادات وغرف التجارة والصناعة بدول مجلس التعاون، الذي عُقد اليوم عبر الاتصال المرئي، أن القطاع الخاص في دول مجلس التعاون يؤدي دورًا حيويًا في تحقيق الأهداف الوطنية لدول مجلس التعاون، وتعزيز مسيرة التعاون الخليجي المشترك، وأن اللقاء التشاوري الرابع عشر مع رؤساء الاتحادات وغرف التجارة والصناعة بدول مجلس التعاون؛ يهدف إلى دعم هذا القطاع وتمكينه من أداء دوره الفاعل في تحقيق التكامل الاقتصادي بين دول المجلس.
منصة إستراتيجية
وأشار البديوي إلى أن هذا اللقاء الدوري يعد منصة حوارية إستراتيجية تجمع بين صانعي السياسات ومتخذي القرار من جهة، وبين ممثلي القطاع الخاص من جهة أخرى، ليشكل أعلى مستويات التواصل بين المسؤولين الحكوميين والقطاع الخاص؛ بهدف تعزيز التعاون المشترك وتحفيز النمو الاقتصادي لدول المجلس، إضافة إلى معالجة التحديات الاقتصادية الإقليمية والدولية التي تواجه القطاع الخاص الخليجي.
وتطلع البديوي إلى أن يسهم هذا اللقاء في الوصول إلى مبادرات تسهم في دعم نمو القطاع الخاص في دول المجلس، ليكون محركًا اقتصاديًا قويًا يسهم في استقرار الاقتصاد والتنمية في دول المجلس، ويعزز مكانتها الدولية كمركز مالي واستثماري واقتصادي عالمي.
The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Al-Budaiwi, confirmed that the achievements made in the growth of intra-GCC trade are the best evidence of overcoming many challenges facing intra-Council trade. He pointed out that the volume of intra-Council trade reached approximately 146 billion dollars in 2024, with an annual growth rate of 9.8%; which confirms the growing strength and expanding scope of Gulf trade.
Vital Role
Al-Budaiwi mentioned during the 14th consultative meeting between the Ministers of Trade and the heads of federations and chambers of commerce and industry in the GCC, which was held today via video conference, that the private sector in the GCC plays a vital role in achieving the national objectives of the GCC countries and enhancing the path of joint Gulf cooperation. He noted that the 14th consultative meeting with the heads of federations and chambers of commerce and industry aims to support this sector and enable it to play its active role in achieving economic integration among the Council’s countries.
Strategic Platform
Al-Budaiwi pointed out that this periodic meeting serves as a strategic dialogue platform that brings together policymakers and decision-makers on one side, and representatives of the private sector on the other, to form the highest levels of communication between government officials and the private sector; with the aim of enhancing joint cooperation and stimulating economic growth in the Council’s countries, in addition to addressing the regional and international economic challenges facing the Gulf private sector.
Al-Budaiwi expressed hope that this meeting would contribute to reaching initiatives that support the growth of the private sector in the Council’s countries, making it a strong economic driver that contributes to the stability of the economy and development in the Council’s countries, and enhances its international standing as a global financial, investment, and economic center.
