ترمب: جولة محادثات جديدة في إسلام آباد خلال يومين – أخبار السعودية
توقع الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، عقد جولة إضافية من المحادثات بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران خلال اليومين القادمين في العاصمة الباكستانية إسلام آباد.
ونقلت صحيفة «نيويورك بوست» عن ترمب قوله: «ربما يحدث شيء ما خلال اليومين القادمين، ونحن نميل أكثر إلى الذهاب إلى هناك».
واضاف ترمب: «إيران لا يمكن أن تمتلك السلاح النووي»، موضحاً أنه لس مؤيداً لمنح إيران 20 عاماً لتعليق تخصيب اليورانيوم.
وأشار إلى أن قائد الجيش الباكستاني يقوم بعمل رائع في المحادثات مع إيران.
بدوره، أوضح رئيس الوزراء الهندي ناريندرا مودي أنه والرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب أكدا خلال اتصال هاتفي جرى اليوم أهمية الإبقاء على مضيق هرمز مفتوحاً وآمناً.
وقال مودي، عبر منصة «إكس»: «تلقيت مكالمة من صديقي ترمب، استعرضنا التقدم الكبير الذي تحقق في تعاوننا الثنائي في مختلف القطاعات»، مضيفاً: «ملتزمون بتعزيز شراكتنا الإستراتيجية العالمية الشاملة في جميع المجالات».
وأشار مودي إلى أنه وترمب ناقشوا الوضع في غرب آسيا وشددوا على أهمية إبقاء مضيق هرمز مفتوحاً وآمناً.
وبحسب وسائل إعلام هندية فإن المكالمة بين الزعيمين استمرت قرابة 40 دقيقة.
من جهة أخرى، أعلنت القيادة المركزية الأمريكية سينتكوم اليوم، عدم تمكن مرور أي سفينة من تجاوز الحصار الأمريكي خلال أول 24 ساعة من بدء المهمة.
وأشارت إلى أن 6 سفن تجارية التزمت بتوجيهات القوات الأمريكية، موضحة أن أكثر من 10000 عسكري أمريكي، وأكثر من 12 سفينة حربية وعشرات الطائرات يشاركون في مهمة حصار السفن الداخلة إلى الموانئ الإيرانية والمغادرة منها.
وذكرت القيادة المركزية الأمريكية أن الحصار يُنفذ بشكل محايد ضد سفن جميع الدول التي تدخل أو تغادر الموانئ والمناطق الساحلية الإيرانية، بما في ذلك جميع الموانئ الإيرانية على الخليج العربي وخليج عمان.
وذكرت أن القوات الأمريكية تدعم حرية الملاحة للسفن التي تعبر مضيق هرمز من وإلى موانئ غير إيرانية.
U.S. President Donald Trump predicted today (Tuesday) that an additional round of talks between the United States and Iran would take place in the coming two days in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.
The New York Post reported Trump as saying, “Something may happen in the next two days, and we are leaning more towards going there.”
Trump added, “Iran cannot have nuclear weapons,” clarifying that he is not in favor of giving Iran 20 years to suspend uranium enrichment.
He noted that the Pakistani army chief is doing a great job in talks with Iran.
For his part, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi explained that he and U.S. President Donald Trump emphasized during a phone call today the importance of keeping the Strait of Hormuz open and secure.
Modi said on the platform “X”: “I received a call from my friend Trump, and we reviewed the significant progress made in our bilateral cooperation across various sectors,” adding, “We are committed to enhancing our comprehensive global strategic partnership in all areas.”
Modi pointed out that he and Trump discussed the situation in West Asia and stressed the importance of keeping the Strait of Hormuz open and secure.
According to Indian media, the call between the two leaders lasted about 40 minutes.
On another note, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced today that no ships were able to breach the U.S. blockade during the first 24 hours of the mission.
It indicated that six commercial vessels complied with U.S. forces’ directives, explaining that more than 10,000 U.S. troops, over 12 warships, and dozens of aircraft are participating in the mission to blockade ships entering and leaving Iranian ports.
The U.S. Central Command stated that the blockade is being implemented neutrally against ships from all countries entering or leaving Iranian ports and coastal areas, including all Iranian ports in the Arabian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.
It mentioned that U.S. forces support the freedom of navigation for ships crossing the Strait of Hormuz to and from non-Iranian ports.
