أغنت إدارة المرور ملاك المركبات من مراجعة إدارتها في مناطق ومدن السعودية بغرض نقل لوحات السيارات إلى أخرى، وأحدثت خدمة جديدة تتيح لهم إنهاء الإجراء إلكترونيا عبر منصة وزارة الداخلية «أبشر». وطبقا للخدمة المستحدثة يمكن لمالك السيارة نقل اللوحة إلى أخرى بكل سهولة بضغطة زر، ومن مزايا الخدمة ضمان استلام المبلغ بأمان مع إمكانية تنفيذ الخدمة في أي وقت ومكان واستلام رخصة السير من خلال الناقل البريدي.

وتبدأ الخدمة الإلكترونية باختيار أيقونة الخدمات، ثم إدارة المركبات ونقل اللوحات واختيار طلب جديد ويعقب ذلك اختيار نقل اللوحات بين مركبتي ومركبة مالك آخر ثم إدخال بيانات الطرف الآخر وسداد الرسوم. وتتطلب الخدمة سداد المبالغ المستحقة ووجود فحص دوري وتأمين سارٍ للمركبتين، والاتفاق بين الطرفين عبر إدخال بيانات الطرف الآخر في النظام وتأكيدها، ثم يتم تبديل اللوحات وإصدار رخص سير جديدة.

The Traffic Department has relieved vehicle owners from the need to visit their offices in various regions and cities of Saudi Arabia for the purpose of transferring license plates to another vehicle. It has introduced a new service that allows them to complete the procedure electronically through the Ministry of Interior’s “Absher” platform. According to the newly launched service, a vehicle owner can easily transfer the license plate to another with the click of a button. Among the advantages of the service is the assurance of securely receiving the payment, the ability to carry out the service at any time and place, and receiving the driving license through a postal carrier.

The electronic service begins by selecting the services icon, then vehicle management and plate transfer, followed by choosing a new request. This is followed by selecting the transfer of plates between my vehicle and another owner’s vehicle, then entering the other party’s information and paying the fees. The service requires the payment of due amounts, a valid periodic inspection, and active insurance for both vehicles, as well as an agreement between the two parties by entering and confirming the other party’s information in the system. Then, the plates are exchanged, and new driving licenses are issued.
