أعلن توتنهام هوتسبير الإنجليزي أمس (الأحد) إنهاء تعاقده مع مدربه الكرواتي إيغور تيودور بعد 44 يوماً فقط من التعاقد، بسبب سوء النتائج في بطولة الدوري الإنجليزي «بريميرليغ».
وأوضح النادي الإنجليزي في بيان عبر موقعه الإلكتروني أنه أنهى علاقته التعاقدية بالمدرب إيغور تيودور بالتراضي بين الطرفين، على أن يُعلن في الوقت المناسب عن المدرب الجديد الذي سيقود الفريق خلفًا له.
نتائج كارثية
وأسفرت المباريات الخمس التي قاد فيها تيودور توتنهام في الدوري الإنجليزي عن أربع هزائم وتعادل، ليتراجع الفريق إلى المركز الـ17 في جدول الترتيب بـ30 نقطة، بفارق نقطة واحدة عن منطقة الهبوط.
أبرز المرشحين
وبحسب صحيفة «ميرور»البريطانية، يُعتبر روبرتو دي زيربي المرشح الأبرز، إذ إن مدرب برايتون السابق عاطل عن العمل حالياً بعد إقالته من تدريب مارسيليا.
كما يُعدّ شون دايتش خياراً قصير الأجل بعد إقالته من تدريب نوتنغهام فورست الشهر الماضي، وارتبط أيضاً اسم آدي هوتر، المدرب النمساوي الذي كان يقود موناكو، بالسبيرز لتولي المهمة.
Tottenham Hotspur announced yesterday (Sunday) that it has terminated its contract with Croatian coach Igor Tudor after just 44 days of hiring him, due to poor results in the English Premier League.
The English club clarified in a statement on its website that it ended its contractual relationship with coach Igor Tudor by mutual consent, and that the new coach who will lead the team in his place will be announced in due course.
Catastrophic Results
The five matches that Tudor led Tottenham in the Premier League resulted in four defeats and one draw, causing the team to drop to 17th place in the standings with 30 points, just one point above the relegation zone.
Top Candidates
According to the British newspaper “Mirror,” Roberto De Zerbi is considered the leading candidate, as the former Brighton coach is currently unemployed after being sacked by Marseille.
Sean Dyche is also seen as a short-term option after his dismissal from Nottingham Forest last month, and the name of Austrian coach Adi Hütter, who was managing Monaco, has also been linked with Spurs for the role.
