ارتفعت أسعار الذهب، اليوم (الخميس)، بعد تراجع الدولار، عقب ملامستها أدنى مستوى في أكثر من شهر، إلا أن المكاسب ظلت محدودة بسبب استمرار توجه السياسة النقدية الأمريكية نحو التشديد.

وصعد الذهب في المعاملات الفورية بنسبة (0.8%) ليصل إلى (4856.82) دولار للأوقية، بعد أن سجل أدنى مستوياته منذ (6) فبراير، فيما كان قد تراجع بنحو (3.7%) في الجلسة السابقة.

في المقابل، انخفضت العقود الأمريكية الآجلة للذهب تسليم أبريل بنسبة (0.8%) إلى (4858.60) دولار.

وجاء هذا الارتفاع مدعومًا بتراجع الدولار، مما جعل الذهب أكثر جاذبية للمستثمرين، غير أن ارتفاع أسعار النفط لأكثر من (110) دولارات للبرميل زاد من مخاوف التضخم، وأضعف التوقعات بخفض قريب لأسعار الفائدة الأمريكية.

كما أظهرت بيانات السوق أن الذهب تراجع بأكثر من (9%) منذ أواخر فبراير، متأثرًا بقوة الدولار في ظل التوترات الجيوسياسية.

وعلى صعيد المعادن الأخرى، ارتفعت الفضة بنسبة (1.5%) إلى (76.52) دولار، والبلاتين بنسبة (0.6%) إلى (2035.25) دولار، والبلاديوم بنسبة (1.2%) إلى (1492.25) دولار للأوقية.

Gold prices rose today (Thursday) after a decline in the dollar, following a drop to their lowest level in over a month, although gains remained limited due to the continued direction of U.S. monetary policy towards tightening.

Gold increased in spot trading by (0.8%) to reach (4856.82) dollars per ounce, after hitting its lowest levels since (February 6), having previously declined by about (3.7%) in the previous session.

In contrast, U.S. gold futures for April delivery fell by (0.8%) to (4858.60) dollars.

This rise was supported by the decline in the dollar, making gold more attractive to investors; however, the increase in oil prices to over (110) dollars per barrel heightened inflation fears and weakened expectations for a near-term cut in U.S. interest rates.

Market data also showed that gold has fallen by more than (9%) since late February, affected by the strength of the dollar amid geopolitical tensions.

In terms of other metals, silver rose by (1.5%) to (76.52) dollars, platinum increased by (0.6%) to (2035.25) dollars, and palladium climbed by (1.2%) to (1492.25) dollars per ounce.
