أعلن المدير العام للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية رافائيل غروسي، اليوم (الأربعاء)، أن الوكالة ليس لديها أي معلومات عن حالة منشأة التخصيب الإيرانية الجديدة في أصفهان، والواقعة داخل مجمع نووي تحت الأرض، موضحاً أنه لم يتمكن من زيارتها.

وقال رافائيل غروسي، الذي يزور واشنطن لحضور مؤتمر وإجراء محادثات مع مسؤولين في إدارة الرئيس دونالد ترمب: «نظراً لإلغاء المفتشين زيارتهم، فإن الوكالة لا تعرف ما إذا كانت مجرد قاعة فارغة أم أنها تضم قواعد خرسانية في انتظار تركيب أجهزة الطرد المركزي -وهي الآلات التي تستخدم لتخصيب اليورانيوم لمحطات الطاقة والأسلحة النووية- أو ما إذا كان قد تم تركيب بعض هذه الأجهزة»، مبيناً أن مفتشيه كانوا في أصفهان في وقت لاحق من ذلك الشهر لتفقدها، لكنهم اضطروا إلى إلغاء الزيارة عندما تعرض المجمع النووي هناك لقصف في بداية الحرب التي استمرت 12 يوماً مع إسرائيل.

وأشار إلى أن «هناك العديد من الأسئلة التي لن نتمكن من توضيحها إلا عندما نستطيع العودة».

وأبلغت إيران الوكالة بوجود المنشأة الجديدة في يونيو الماضي، كما أبلغتها بأن قذيفة أصابت منطقة قريبة من محطة بوشهر للطاقة النووية الإيرانية، مساء (الثلاثاء)، لكنها لم تسبب أي أضرار مادية أو بشرية.

وأكدت الوكالة، في الثالث من مارس، أن مداخل محطة تخصيب اليورانيوم الإيرانية تحت الأرض في نطنز تعرضت للقصف في وقت سابق خلال الهجمات العسكرية الأمريكية الإسرائيلية على إيران.

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, announced today (Wednesday) that the agency has no information about the status of the new Iranian enrichment facility in Isfahan, which is located within an underground nuclear complex, explaining that he was unable to visit it.

Rafael Grossi, who is visiting Washington to attend a conference and hold talks with officials in President Donald Trump’s administration, said: “Due to the cancellation of the inspectors’ visit, the agency does not know whether it is just an empty hall or if it contains concrete bases awaiting the installation of centrifuges – the machines used to enrich uranium for power plants and nuclear weapons – or whether some of these devices have been installed,” noting that his inspectors were in Isfahan later that month to inspect it, but they had to cancel the visit when the nuclear complex there was bombed at the beginning of the 12-day war with Israel.

He pointed out that “there are many questions that we will not be able to clarify until we can return.”

Iran informed the agency about the existence of the new facility last June, and also informed it that a shell struck an area near the Iranian Bushehr nuclear power plant on Tuesday evening, but it did not cause any material or human damage.

The agency confirmed on March 3 that the entrances to the Iranian underground uranium enrichment facility in Natanz were bombed earlier during the U.S.-Israeli military attacks on Iran.
