أكد مدرب نادي الخليج لكرة القدم اليوناني جورجوس دونيس جاهزية فريقه لمواجهة النصر ضمن منافسات دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين، مشيرًا إلى أن اللقاء يمثل تحديًا كبيرًا أمام متصدر جدول الترتيب.

وقال دونيس خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي عُقد قبل المباراة إن فريقه يدرك صعوبة المواجهة أمام منافس قوي يملك عناصر مميزة، مبينًا في الوقت ذاته ثقته بقدرة لاعبي الخليج على تقديم مستوى جيد والمنافسة خلال اللقاء.

وأضاف مدرب الخليج أن العمل داخل الفريق يسير بروح جماعية عالية، مؤكدًا فخره بما يقدمه اللاعبون منذ بداية الموسم، وهو ما انعكس على الأداء الذي ظهر به الفريق في المباريات الأخيرة.

وأوضح دونيس أن الجهاز الفني يركز على مواصلة العمل بنفس الروح والانضباط داخل الملعب خلال المرحلة القادمة، مبينًا أن الهدف هو إنهاء الموسم بأفضل مركز ممكن في جدول الترتيب، خصوصًا أن الفريق سيلعب على أرضه في ملعب الدمام.

ويحتل الخليج حاليًا المركز الحادي عشر في جدول ترتيب الدوري برصيد 30 نقطة من 25 مباراة، ويسعى للتقدم في سلم الترتيب عندما يواجه النصر متصدر الدوري مساء اليوم (السبت).

The Greek coach of Al-Khaleej Football Club, Georgios Donis, confirmed his team’s readiness to face Al-Nassr in the Roshan Saudi Professional League, noting that the match represents a significant challenge against the league leaders.

During the press conference held before the match, Donis stated that his team is aware of the difficulty of facing a strong opponent with outstanding players, while also expressing his confidence in the ability of Al-Khaleej players to deliver a good performance and compete during the match.

Donis added that the work within the team is progressing with a high spirit of collaboration, emphasizing his pride in what the players have shown since the beginning of the season, which has reflected in the performance the team displayed in recent matches.

He explained that the coaching staff is focused on continuing to work with the same spirit and discipline on the field in the upcoming phase, indicating that the goal is to finish the season in the best possible position in the standings, especially since the team will be playing at home in Dammam Stadium.

Al-Khaleej currently occupies the eleventh position in the league standings with 30 points from 25 matches, and they are looking to advance in the rankings when they face league leaders Al-Nassr this evening (Saturday).
