تحولت عملية إسعاف عادية في مدينة إسطنبول إلى مهمة إنقاذ استثنائية، بعدما اضطرت فرق الطوارئ لاستخدام رافعة لإخراج شابة سورية تزن نحو 240 كيلوغراماً من شقتها الواقعة في الطابق السابع.

وأظهر مقطع فيديو متداول تفاصيل نقل الشابة عائشة معاذ (27 عاماً)، التي تقيم في منطقة سلطان غازي، بعد تعرضها لوعكة صحية مفاجئة استدعت نقلها بشكل عاجل إلى المستشفى.

وبحسب وسائل إعلام تركية، واجهت فرق الإسعاف صعوبة في إخراج المريضة عبر ممرات المبنى بسبب وزنها وحالتها الصحية، ما دفعها إلى الاستعانة بفرق الإطفاء والدفاع المدني لتنفيذ عملية إنقاذ غير تقليدية.

وقام رجال الإنقاذ بإزالة إحدى نوافذ الشقة لتوسيع فتحة الخروج، قبل أن تُنقل الشابة بحذر إلى سلة رافعة كبيرة تم تثبيتها عند النافذة، ليجري إنزالها ببطء إلى الشارع وسط إجراءات احترازية دقيقة.

وبعد إنزالها بنجاح، قدم المسعفون إسعافات أولية لعائشة في الموقع، إذ كانت تعاني من ضيق في التنفس وانخفاض في مستوى الأوكسجين، قبل نقلها إلى أحد مستشفيات إسطنبول لتلقي العلاج.

وأشارت التقارير إلى أن الشابة تعاني من سمنة مفرطة، وقد ازداد وزنها بشكل كبير خلال العامين الماضيين، الأمر الذي منعها من العمل وأجبرها على البقاء في المنزل.

كما يعيش معها شقيقها الذي يعاني بدوره من السمنة المفرطة، في ظل غياب أقارب لهما في المدينة.

وتستضيف مدينة إسطنبول وحدها نحو نصف مليون لاجئ سوري، ضمن نحو 2.5 مليون سوري يعيشون في تركيا منذ اندلاع الأزمة السورية عام 2011.

A routine rescue operation in Istanbul turned into an extraordinary rescue mission, as emergency teams were forced to use a crane to extract a young Syrian woman weighing about 240 kilograms from her apartment located on the seventh floor.

A circulating video showed the details of transporting the young woman, Aisha Muath (27 years old), who resides in the Sultan Ghazi area, after she suffered a sudden health crisis that required her urgent transfer to the hospital.

According to Turkish media, the ambulance teams faced difficulties in getting the patient out through the building’s corridors due to her weight and health condition, prompting them to call in fire and civil defense teams to carry out an unconventional rescue operation.

The rescue workers removed one of the apartment windows to widen the exit opening before carefully transferring the young woman to a large crane basket that was secured at the window, allowing her to be lowered slowly to the street amid precise precautionary measures.

After successfully lowering her, the paramedics provided first aid to Aisha on-site, as she was suffering from shortness of breath and low oxygen levels, before transferring her to one of Istanbul’s hospitals for treatment.

Reports indicated that the young woman suffers from severe obesity, and her weight has significantly increased over the past two years, which has prevented her from working and forced her to stay at home.

She also lives with her brother, who likewise suffers from severe obesity, in the absence of relatives in the city.

The city of Istanbul alone hosts about half a million Syrian refugees, among approximately 2.5 million Syrians living in Turkey since the outbreak of the Syrian crisis in 2011.
