توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس لهذا اليوم (الجمعة) هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة تؤدي إلى جريان السيول مصحوبة بزخات من البرد ورياح نشطة مثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من المنطقة الشرقية، فيما تكون خفيفة إلى متوسط على أجزاء مناطق نجران، جازان، عسير، الباحة، مكة المكرمة، الرياض، كذلك على أجزاء من مناطق تبوك، الجوف، الحدود الشمالية. كما لا يستبعد تكوّن الضباب خلال الليل وساعات الصباح الباكر على أجزاء من تلك المناطق، وكذلك على أجزاء من منطقتي حائل، والقصيم.

وأشار التقرير إلى أن الرياح السطحية شمالية غربية إلى غربية بسرعة 10-24 كم/ساعة تصل إلى 45 كم/ساعة مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر يصل إلى مترين مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي، وحالة البحر خفيف الموج يصل إلى مائج مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي.

وفي الخليج العربي تكون الرياح السطحية شمالية شرقية إلى جنوبية شرقية بسرعة 10-25 كم/ساعة تصل إلى 40 كم/ساعة مع تكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر يصل إلى مترين مع تكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة، وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج يصل إلى مائج مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة.

The National Center of Meteorology has predicted in its weather report for today (Friday) that moderate to heavy thunderstorms will lead to flash floods, accompanied by showers of hail and active winds stirring up dust and sand in parts of the Eastern region. Meanwhile, the weather will be light to moderate in parts of Najran, Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Mecca, Riyadh, as well as in parts of Tabuk, Al-Jawf, and the Northern Borders. The formation of fog is also not ruled out during the night and early morning hours in parts of those areas, as well as in parts of the Ha’il and Al-Qassim regions.

The report indicated that surface winds will be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 10-24 km/h, reaching up to 45 km/h with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part, and wave heights will range from half a meter to one meter, reaching up to two meters with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part. The sea condition will be slightly wavy, becoming rough with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part.

In the Arabian Gulf, surface winds will be northeasterly to southeasterly at speeds of 10-25 km/h, reaching up to 40 km/h with the formation of thunderstorm clouds, and wave heights will range from half a meter to one meter, reaching up to two meters with the formation of thunderstorm clouds. The sea condition will be slightly to moderately wavy, becoming rough with the formation of thunderstorm clouds.
