وجد نادي السد القطري نفسه في مأزق حقيقي، قبل استكمال مشواره في الدوري القطري بمواجهة أم صلال لحساب الجولة الـ18 من منافسات الدوري،

حيث أعلن النادي تعذر وصول مدربه الإيطالي روبرتو مانشيني إلى الدوحة لقيادة الفريق، وذلك عقب مغادرته إلى بلاده في وقت سابق، نظراً إلى ظرف طبي عائلي، ولكنه لم يتمكن من العودة بسبب الأحداث في المنطقة. وأعلن النادي قيادة مساعده سيرخيو اليغري للفريق لحين عودة المدرب.

ولم تتوقف مشكلات السد عند هذا الحد بل أعلن النادي أيضاً مغادرة نجمه كلاودينيو مع عائلته للدوحة، مشيراً إلى أنهم على اتصال مستمر باللاعب لعودته في أقرب وقت ممكن.

يذكر أن مؤسسة دوري نجوم قطر أعلنت استئناف منافسات الدوري القطري لكرة القدم (دوري نجوم بنك الدوحة) اليوم (الخميس) وغداً (الجمعة) لحساب الجولة الـ18.

وأفادت المؤسسة في بيان لها بأنه ستقام 3 مباريات مساء الخميس في توقيت واحد، حيث سيلعب السيلية مع الدحيل على ملعب جاسم بن حمد، ويلتقي الوكرة مع الشمال على ملعب أحمد بن علي، ويواجه قطر الغرافة على ملعب الثمامة.

وتستكمل مباريات الجولة غداً (الجمعة) بإقامة 3 مباريات أخرى، حيث يلعب الأهلي مع العربي بملعب الثمامة، ويلتقي الريان مع الشحانية على ملعب أحمد بن علي، ويواجه السد أم صلال على ملعب جاسم بن حمد.

ويتصدر نادي السد ترتيب الدوري بعد الجولة الـ17 برصيد 38 نقطة، يليه الغرافة في المركز الثاني بـ34 نقطة، ثم الشمال في المركز الثالث بـ31 نقطة.
