«أمين مجلس التعاون»: وحدة الموقف الخليجي مصدر قوة لدولنا – أخبار السعودية
أكد الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية جاسم محمد البديوي أن وحدة الموقف الخليجي مصدر قوة لدولنا، وأن الاجتماع الاستثنائي لوزراء الإعلام بدول المجلس يعكس الإدراك المشترك للدور الحيوي للإعلام الخليجي في هذه المرحلة، من خلال حشد وتنسيق الطاقات الإعلامية الخليجية، وتقديم خطاب إعلامي مهني ومسؤول، يجسد مواقف دول المجلس ويواجه محاولات التشويه والتضليل.
جاء ذلك خلال كلمته أمس في الاجتماع الاستثنائي لوزراء الإعلام بدول مجلس التعاون -عبر الاتصال المرئي، برئاسة وزير الإعلام بمملكة البحرين الدكتور رمزان عبدالله النعيمي، رئيس الدورة الحالية، ومشاركة وزراء الإعلام بدول المجلس.
وقال البديوي: «إن الاجتماع ينعقد في ظل تطورات خطيرة تشهدها منطقتنا، جراء التصعيد العسكري الإيراني الغاشم الذي استهدف دول مجلس التعاون، في انتهاكٍ سافرٍ لسيادة دولنا، وتهديدٍ مباشرٍ لأمنها واستقرارها وسلامة شعوبها، الأمر الذي يستدعي منا جميعاً موقفاً موحداً وحازماً على مختلف المستويات، ومن بينها التعاون والتنسيق الإعلامي المشترك، وأنه هو السبيل الأمثل لمواجهة التحديات، والإعلام الخليجي اليوم مطالب أكثر من أي وقت مضى بأن يكون على قدر هذه المسؤولية، وأن يسهم في تعزيز الوعي، وترسيخ الثقة، ودعم جهود قيادات دولنا في الحفاظ على أمن واستقرار المنطقة».
وأشار إلى أن الإعلام في مثل هذه الظروف لا يقتصر دوره على نقل الأحداث، بل يتجاوز ذلك ليكون خط الدفاع الأول في مواجهة حملات التضليل، والتصدي للمعلومات المغلوطة، وكشف الحقائق للرأي العام الإقليمي والدولي، بما يعكس عدالة موقف دول مجلس التعاون والتزامها الدائم بمبادئ القانون الدولي واحترام سيادة الدول وحسن الجوار، متطلعاً أن يسهم هذا الاجتماع في الخروج برؤية وتصور مشتركين لتعزيز العمل الإعلامي الخليجي، ووضع آليات عملية للتعامل مع الحملات الإعلامية المضللة، والاستفادة من مختلف المنصات الإعلامية التقليدية والرقمية لإيصال صوت دولنا بوضوح ومصداقية إلى العالم.
رفض بأشد العبارات للاعتداءات الإيرانية الآثمة
بدورهم، عبّر وزراء الإعلام خلال الاجتماع، عن رفضهم وإدانتهم بأشد العبارات الاعتداءات الإيرانية الآثمة التي استهدفت دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، وما صاحبها من هجمات خطيرة غير مسبوقة طالت الأعيان المدنية والمنشآت الحيوية والبنى التحتية والمناطق السكنية والممتلكات الخاصة، في انتهاك جسيم وسافر لمبادئ القانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني وميثاق الأمم المتحدة، وبما يمثل تهديداً مباشراً لأمن واستقرار المنطقة وسلامة شعوبها.
وأكدوا احتفاظ دول المجلس بحقها القانوني في الرد، وفقاً للمادة (51) من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة التي تكفل حق الدفاع عن النفس للدول فردياً وجماعياً في حال التعرض للعدوان، واتخاذ الإجراءات كافة التي تحفظ سيادتها وأمنها واستقرارها، معربين عن الاعتزاز العميق والتقدير البالغ لما تبذله القوات المسلحة في دول المجلس كافة للذود عن أمن دوله وصون سيادتها والتصدي لهذا العدوان، مشيدين بالدور المحوري الذي تضطلع به الأجهزة الأمنية والجهات المختصة في اتخاذ الإجراءات والتدابير اللازمة لتعزيز منظومة الأمن والاستقرار، وضمان سلامة المواطنين والمقيمين، وتأمين المنشآت والمرافق الحيوية.
كما قدم الوزراء أصدق التعازي والمواساة والرحمة على الشهداء الذين ارتقوا جراء الاعتداءات الإيرانية الغاشمة التي استهدفتهم خلال أداء واجبهم الوطني، إضافة إلى الضحايا المدنيين الأبرياء الذين سقطوا جراء هذه الهجمات الغادرة بجميع دول مجلس التعاون، سائلين المولى -عز وجل- أن يتغمدهم بواسع رحمته، وأن يسكنهم فسيح جناته، وأن يمنّ على المصابين بالشفاء العاجل، وأن يحفظ دولنا وشعوبنا من كل سوء ومكروه.
The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, confirmed that the unity of the Gulf stance is a source of strength for our countries, and that the extraordinary meeting of the Ministers of Information of the Council reflects the shared awareness of the vital role of Gulf media at this stage, through mobilizing and coordinating Gulf media efforts, and providing a professional and responsible media discourse that embodies the positions of the Council’s member states and confronts attempts at distortion and misinformation.
This was stated during his speech yesterday at the extraordinary meeting of the Ministers of Information of the Gulf Cooperation Council – via video conference, chaired by the Minister of Information of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Ramzan Abdullah Al-Nuaimi, the current session’s president, with the participation of the Ministers of Information from the member states.
Al-Budaiwi said: “The meeting is being held amid serious developments in our region, due to the brutal Iranian military escalation targeting the Gulf Cooperation Council states, in a blatant violation of our countries’ sovereignty, and a direct threat to their security, stability, and the safety of their peoples. This necessitates a unified and firm stance from all of us at various levels, including cooperation and joint media coordination, which is the optimal way to face challenges. Gulf media today is more than ever required to rise to this responsibility, contribute to enhancing awareness, instill confidence, and support the efforts of our leaders in maintaining the security and stability of the region.”
He pointed out that the role of media in such circumstances is not limited to reporting events, but goes beyond that to be the first line of defense against misinformation campaigns, confronting false information, and revealing the truths to the regional and international public opinion, reflecting the justice of the Gulf Cooperation Council’s position and its constant commitment to the principles of international law and respect for the sovereignty of states and good neighborliness. He hopes that this meeting will contribute to a shared vision and conception to enhance Gulf media work, establish practical mechanisms to deal with misleading media campaigns, and utilize various traditional and digital media platforms to convey the voice of our countries clearly and credibly to the world.
Strong condemnation of the Iranian aggressions
For their part, the Ministers of Information expressed during the meeting their rejection and condemnation in the strongest terms of the Iranian aggressions that targeted the Gulf Cooperation Council states, along with unprecedented serious attacks on civilian objects, vital facilities, infrastructure, residential areas, and private properties, in a grave and blatant violation of the principles of international law, international humanitarian law, and the United Nations Charter, representing a direct threat to the security and stability of the region and the safety of its peoples.
They affirmed that the member states retain their legal right to respond, in accordance with Article (51) of the United Nations Charter, which guarantees the right of self-defense for states, both individually and collectively, in the event of aggression, and to take all necessary measures to preserve their sovereignty, security, and stability, expressing deep pride and great appreciation for the efforts of the armed forces in all member states to defend the security of their countries and protect their sovereignty and confront this aggression, praising the pivotal role played by security agencies and relevant authorities in taking the necessary measures and actions to enhance the security and stability system, ensure the safety of citizens and residents, and secure vital facilities and installations.
The ministers also offered their sincere condolences and sympathy for the martyrs who fell due to the brutal Iranian aggressions targeting them while performing their national duty, in addition to the innocent civilian victims who lost their lives due to these treacherous attacks across all Gulf Cooperation Council states, asking the Almighty to envelop them in His vast mercy, to grant them a place in His spacious gardens, to bestow a speedy recovery upon the injured, and to protect our countries and peoples from all harm and misfortune.
