أخبار لايت: التمديد سنتين لمجلس النواب.. الحرب على لبنان تعيد تدوير السلطة – أخبار السعودية

‏أقرت الهيئة العامة لمجلس النواب، في جلسة، اليوم (الإثنين)، تمديد ولاية مجلس النواب لمدة سنتين بأكثرية 76 صوتاً ومعارضة 41 وامتناع 4 نواب.

واستند هذا التمديد إلى ما يوصف بالظروف القاهرة (الحرب الإسرائيلية) التي تحول دون إجراء الانتخابات النيابية في موعدها الدستوري، بالتزامن مع اقتراب انتهاء ولاية المجلس الحالي في مايو 2026.

بالمقابل، واصل الرئيس اللبناني العماد جوزاف عون لقاءاته مع رؤساء البعثات الدبلوماسية لشرح موقف لبنان من التطورات الراهنة، مؤكداً أن موقف لبنان واضح وثابت، وقد جرى التأكيد عليه في قرار مجلس الوزراء الصادر الأسبوع الماضي، لجهة التزام لبنان الكامل والنهائي بمندرجات إعلان وقف الأعمال العدائية الذي تم الاتفاق عليه في تشرين الثاني 2024، بما يصون السلم والاستقرار.

وشدد عون على أن هذا الالتزام يقابله وجوب التزام إسرائيل بوقف اعتداءاتها على كامل الأراضي اللبنانية.

وكشف أنه أبلغ الدول الكبرى والأمم المتحدة استعداد لبنان الكامل لاستئناف المفاوضات والبحث في النقاط الأمنية الضرورية لوقف التصعيد الإسرائيلي الخطير.

وفي ما يتعلق بقرار الحكومة بشأن حصر السلاح، أكد عون أن هذا القرار سينفذ وفق الخطة التي وضعتها قيادة الجيش اللبناني عندما تسمح الظروف الأمنية.

وأكد عون أن الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية المستمرة على الضاحية الجنوبية والجنوب والبقاع لن تحقق أهدافها، مشدداً على تمسك لبنان بالاستقرار ورفضه الانجرار إلى التصعيد.

ميدانياً، كشف تقرير غربي نقلاً عن مصدر مطلع على الإستراتيجية العسكرية الإسرائيلية، أن إسرائيل لن تتسامح مع تعرض سكان شمال إسرائيل لإطلاق النار.

ورجح التقرير استمرار الحرب على لبنان حتى لو توقفت العمليات ضد إيران، معتبراً ان الجبهة اللبنانية غير مرتبطة بالجبهة الإيرانية، ومن المرجح أن يستمر القصف الإسرائيلي على «حزب الله» حتى بعد انتهاء الحرب الجوية التي تشنها تل أبيب بالتعاون مع واشنطن ضد إيران.

The General Assembly of the House of Representatives approved, in a session today (Monday), the extension of the House of Representatives’ term for two years with a majority of 76 votes, against 41, and 4 abstentions.

This extension was based on what is described as exceptional circumstances (the Israeli war) that prevent the holding of parliamentary elections on their constitutional date, coinciding with the approaching end of the current council’s term in May 2026.

Meanwhile, Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun continued his meetings with heads of diplomatic missions to explain Lebanon’s position on the current developments, confirming that Lebanon’s stance is clear and steadfast, as emphasized in the Cabinet’s decision issued last week regarding Lebanon’s complete and final commitment to the provisions of the ceasefire declaration agreed upon in November 2024, which preserves peace and stability.

Aoun stressed that this commitment is met with the necessity for Israel to commit to stopping its aggressions against all Lebanese territory.

He revealed that he informed major countries and the United Nations of Lebanon’s full readiness to resume negotiations and discuss the necessary security points to halt the dangerous Israeli escalation.

Regarding the government’s decision on weapon control, Aoun confirmed that this decision will be implemented according to the plan set by the Lebanese Army Command when security conditions allow.

Aoun affirmed that the ongoing Israeli aggressions on the southern suburbs, the south, and the Bekaa will not achieve their objectives, emphasizing Lebanon’s commitment to stability and its refusal to be dragged into escalation.

On the ground, a Western report citing a source familiar with the Israeli military strategy revealed that Israel will not tolerate gunfire directed at residents of northern Israel.

The report suggested that the war on Lebanon would continue even if operations against Iran ceased, considering that the Lebanese front is not linked to the Iranian front, and it is likely that Israeli bombardment of “Hezbollah” will continue even after the aerial war waged by Tel Aviv in cooperation with Washington against Iran ends.
