أخبار لايت: مجلس التعاون يُدين الاعتداءات الإيرانية ويؤكد اصطفافاً خليجياً كاملاً للدفاع عن سيادة دوله وأمن المنطقة – أخبار السعودية

أعرب الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية جاسم محمد البديوي، عن إدانة مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية بأشد العبارات الاعتداءات الصاروخية الإيرانية الآثمة والصارخة على أراضي دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، ومملكة البحرين، ودولة قطر، ودولة الكويت، والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، في انتهاك سافر لسيادتها، مؤكداً تضامن دول المجلس كافة، ووقوفها صفاً واحداً في مواجهة هذه الهجمات، ووضع إمكاناتها كافة لمساندتها في كل ما تتخذه من إجراءات للدفاع عن سيادتها وأمنها ومصالحها الوطنية، مع احتفاظها بحقها في الرد والدفاع عن نفسها وفقاً لمبادئ ميثاق الأمم المتحدة. وحذر البديوي من العواقب الوخيمة لهذا التصعيد غير المبرر، الذي يهدد أمن واستقرار المنطقة، موضحاً أن دول المجلس كانت دائماً داعية قوية للحفاظ على السلم والأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي لصالح جميع شعوب المنطقة، مؤكداً أن استهداف أراضي دول المجلس يتعارض مع أحكام القانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة ومبادئ حسن الجوار، ولا يمكن قبوله تحت أي مبرر أو ذريعة، وأنه يجب على إيران التوقف الفوري عن أية أعمال تصعيدية من شأنها أن تقوض الأمن والاستقرار الإقليميين.

The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, expressed the Council’s strongest condemnation of the Iranian missile attacks on the territories of the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in a blatant violation of their sovereignty. He affirmed the solidarity of all member states and their unified stance in facing these attacks, pledging to provide all their capabilities to support any measures taken to defend their sovereignty, security, and national interests, while retaining their right to respond and defend themselves in accordance with the principles of the United Nations Charter. Al-Budaiwi warned of the grave consequences of this unjustified escalation, which threatens the security and stability of the region, explaining that the member states have always been strong advocates for maintaining peace, security, and regional stability for the benefit of all the peoples of the region. He emphasized that targeting the territories of the member states contradicts the provisions of international law, the United Nations Charter, and the principles of good neighborliness, and cannot be accepted under any justification or pretext, urging Iran to immediately cease any escalatory actions that could undermine regional security and stability.
