في ذاكرة التلفزيون السعودي أسماءٌ لا تُنسى، لا لكثرة ظهورها فحسب، بل لما تركته من أثر في الوجدان العام، ومن بين تلك الأصوات التي شكّلت ملامح الشاشة في منتصف التسعينات، يبرز اسم المذيع الراحل سعيد طمسان، الذي اقترن حضوره بحسن القراءة، وفخامة الصوت، وهيبة الإطلالة.

رحل – رحمه الله – إثر حادث مروري يوم الأحد ٢/ ٥/ ١٤٣٣هـ الموافق ٢٥ مارس ٢٠١٢، في خبرٍ صادمٍ ترك أثراً عميقاً في الوسط الإعلامي، إذ لم يكن الغياب متدرجاً، بل فجائياً وموجعاً، كأن الشاشة فقدت أحد أصواتها التي اعتادت عليها.

بهذا الرحيل، لم يُطوَ اسم سعيد طمسان في أرشيف قديم، بل بقي شاهداً على مرحلةٍ من الإعلام السعودي كانت الكلمة فيها تُقرأ بإجلال، والصوت يُصان بوصفه أمانة.

He was one of the faces that combined a majestic voice with an attractive presence, so his name remained present in the memory of an entire generation that followed his news broadcasts and programs, seeing in him a model of a broadcaster who respects the word and respects the viewer. Even shortly before his passing, he maintained that brilliance he was known for, and his presence did not fade in the professional memory of his colleagues and admirers.

He passed away – may God have mercy on him – in a traffic accident on Sunday, 2/5/1433 AH, corresponding to March 25, 2012, in shocking news that left a deep impact on the media community, as his absence was not gradual but sudden and painful, as if the screen had lost one of its familiar voices.

With this departure, the name Saeed Tamsan was not folded away in an old archive, but remained a witness to a phase of Saudi media where the word was read with reverence, and the voice was preserved as a trust.
