أخبار لايت: القصبي يرأس الاجتماع الـ70 للجنة التعاون التجاري بدول مجلس التعاون الخليجي – أخبار السعودية

ترأس وزير التجارة رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للتجارة الخارجية الدكتور ماجد بن عبدالله القصبي، أمس (الخميس)، الاجتماع الـ(70) للجنة التعاون التجاري بدول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، عبر الاتصال المرئي، بمشاركة الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية جاسم بن محمد البديوي، ووزراء التجارة من دول المجلس.

وشهد الاجتماع مناقشة مستجدات مفاوضات اتفاقيات التجارة الحرة مع الدول والتكتلات الدولية، ومتابعة مستجدات تنفيذ القوانين التجارية الموحّدة لدول المجلس، والاطلاع على مقترح حاضنة الأعمال الخليجية الافتراضية، إضافةً إلى متابعة أعمال اللجان التابعة للجنة الوزارية.

واطلع الوزراء على تقرير الأمانة العامة بشأن تنفيذ القرارات السابقة للجنة، والتقرير السنوي لأعمال وإنجازات مركز التحكيم التجاري للعام 2025، والإجراءات المتخذة من قبل الأمانة العامة المساعدة للشؤون الاقتصادية والتنموية في ظل الأحداث الراهنة، ومستجدات معالجة تحديات التجارة البينية بين دول المجلس، إضافةً إلى متابعة قرارات المجلس الأعلى.

وشارك القصبي في الاجتماع المشترك لوزراء التجارة، مع وزير التجارة للمملكة المتحدة كريس براينت، والاجتماع الـ(11) للجنة الوزارية لشؤون التقييس، واللقاء التشاوري بين وزراء التجارة والصناعة ورؤساء اتحادات وغرف دول المجلس.

يذكر أن حجم التبادل التجاري بين المملكة ودول مجلس التعاون الخليجي بلغ نحو 270 مليار ريال لعام 2025 -بحسب البيانات الأولية-، حيث سجل حجم التبادل التجاري للمملكة في خمس سنوات ارتفاعًا بنسبة 125%، فيما بلغت صادراتها نحو 188 مليار ريال، بنسبة ارتفاع بلغت 163% في آخر خمس سنوات.

The Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Foreign Trade, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, chaired yesterday (Thursday) the 70th meeting of the Committee for Trade Cooperation among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, via video conference, with the participation of the Secretary-General of the GCC, Jasem bin Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, and the trade ministers from the member states.

The meeting discussed the latest developments in negotiations for free trade agreements with countries and international blocs, followed up on the implementation of unified commercial laws among the member states, and reviewed the proposal for a virtual Gulf business incubator, in addition to monitoring the work of the committees affiliated with the ministerial committee.

The ministers reviewed the report from the General Secretariat regarding the implementation of previous committee decisions, the annual report on the activities and achievements of the Commercial Arbitration Center for the year 2025, and the measures taken by the General Secretariat for Economic and Development Affairs in light of current events, as well as updates on addressing the challenges of intra-trade among the member states, in addition to following up on the decisions of the Supreme Council.

Al-Qasabi also participated in the joint meeting of trade ministers with the UK Minister of Trade, Chris Bryant, the 11th meeting of the Ministerial Committee for Standardization Affairs, and the consultative meeting between the trade and industry ministers and the heads of federations and chambers of the member states.

It is noteworthy that the volume of trade exchange between the Kingdom and the GCC countries reached approximately 270 billion riyals for the year 2025 – according to preliminary data – where the trade exchange volume for the Kingdom recorded an increase of 125% over five years, while its exports amounted to about 188 billion riyals, with an increase of 163% in the last five years.
