أسدلت دائرة جنايات بني وليد في ليبيا الستار أخيراً على واحدة من أكثر القضايا الجنائية حساسية وتعقيداً التي شهدتها المدينة، بعد أن أصدرت حكماً بالإعدام بحق المتهمين الثلاثة في الجرائم التي هزت الرأي العام المحلي على مدار عام 2024.

تعود تفاصيل القضية إلى سلسلة من الجرائم الدامية التي أودت بحياة كل من (أحمد عبدالله القحف)، و(سالم عبدالله القحف)، و(حمدي مسعود القحف)، إضافة إلى واقعة شروع في قتل (عبدالحكيم عبدالله القحف). هذه الجرائم التي أثارت حالة من الصدمة في بني وليد، وضعت السلطات القضائية والنيابة العامة أمام تحدٍّ كبير لكشف ملابساتها المتشابكة.

وعلى مدار أشهر طويلة، عملت النيابة العامة على جمع الأدلة الجنائية وترتيب خيوط القضية، حتى نجحت في تحديد هوية المتهمين الثلاثة وتقديمهم للعدالة. القضية التي استندت إلى أدلة دامغة، خضعت لجلسات محاكمة دقيقة استعرضت خلالها هيئة المحكمة تفاصيل الجرائم وتسلسل الأحداث المؤلمة.

وداخل قاعة المحكمة، وبحضور أهالي الضحايا، جاء الحكم ليكون فاصلاً ومحققاً للعدالة، حيث قضت الدائرة بـ:

• الإعدام بحق المتهمين الثلاثة عن جرائم القتل العمد.
• السجن المؤبد لأحد المتهمين في واقعة الشروع في القتل.
• السجن لمدة 4 سنوات على خلفية تهم حيازة الأسلحة والذخيرة غير المرخصة.

ويمثل هذا الحكم نهاية لمرحلة طويلة من القلق في المدينة، ويعد رسالة واضحة بأن مسار العدالة، مهما طال، سيظل الحصن الأول لأمن المجتمع واستقراره.

The Court of Assizes in Bani Walid, Libya, has finally closed the curtain on one of the most sensitive and complex criminal cases the city has witnessed, after issuing a death sentence against the three defendants for crimes that shook public opinion throughout 2024.

The details of the case date back to a series of bloody crimes that claimed the lives of (Ahmed Abdullah Al-Qahaf), (Salem Abdullah Al-Qahaf), and (Hamdi Masoud Al-Qahaf), in addition to an attempted murder of (Abdulhakim Abdullah Al-Qahaf). These crimes, which caused a state of shock in Bani Walid, posed a significant challenge for the judicial authorities and the public prosecution to uncover their intricate circumstances.

For many months, the public prosecution worked on gathering forensic evidence and organizing the threads of the case, until it succeeded in identifying the three defendants and bringing them to justice. The case, which was based on compelling evidence, underwent meticulous trial sessions during which the court reviewed the details of the crimes and the sequence of painful events.

Inside the courtroom, in the presence of the victims’ families, the verdict came as a decisive and justice-achieving measure, where the court ruled:

• The death penalty for the three defendants for premeditated murder.
• Life imprisonment for one of the defendants in the attempted murder case.
• Four years in prison for charges of possessing unlicensed weapons and ammunition.

This ruling represents the end of a long period of anxiety in the city and serves as a clear message that the path to justice, no matter how long it takes, will remain the first bastion for the security and stability of the community.
