«تضخُّم اليورو» لأعلى مستوى.. و«الأوروبي» يراقب الوضع – أخبار السعودية
زاد معدل التضخم في منطقة اليورو لأعلى مستوى منذ يوليو 2024 في ظل ارتفاع أسعار النفط بسبب الحرب في إيران.
وارتفعت أسعار المستهلكين على أساس سنوي بنسبة 2.6% خلال مارس الماضي، بحسب التقديرات النهائية التي أصدرها مكتب الإحصاء الأوروبي «يوروستات» اليوم.
ارتفاع الطاقة
وكان معدل التضخم في منطقة اليورو قد بلغ 1.9% خلال شهر فبراير الماضي.
ويرجع ارتفاع معدل التضخم خلال الشهر الماضي إلى ارتفاع أسعار الطاقة بنسبة 5.1% نتيجة للحرب في إيران.
وكان البنك المركزي الأوروبي قد أبقى أخيراً، على معدل الفائدة دون تغيير عند مستوى 2%.
وأوضحت رئيسة البنك المركزي الأوروبي كريستين لاغارد، أن البنك يراقب الوضع عن كثب، وسيكون مستعداً للتدخل إذا تطلب الأمر.
The inflation rate in the Eurozone has risen to its highest level since July 2024 due to rising oil prices caused by the war in Iran.
Consumer prices increased by 2.6% year-on-year in March, according to the final estimates released today by the European statistics office, Eurostat.
Energy Surge
The inflation rate in the Eurozone was 1.9% in February.
The increase in the inflation rate last month is attributed to a 5.1% rise in energy prices as a result of the war in Iran.
The European Central Bank had recently kept the interest rate unchanged at 2%.
European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde stated that the bank is closely monitoring the situation and will be ready to intervene if necessary.
