تحدث تامر محسن عن حالة القلق التي صاحبته في خطواته الأولى داخل مجال الإخراج، مؤكداً أنه كان يشك أحياناً في قدراته ويفكر في التراجع، قبل أن تمنحه بعض التجارب والمؤشرات شعوراً بالثقة والاستمرار، قائلاً: «كنت بفكر أسيب الإخراج».

وأشار محسن إلى أن وحيد حامد كان أحد أبرز الداعمين له، وحرص على الاطمئنان عليه ومتابعة أعماله، وترك لديه أثراً فكرياً كبيراً جعله دائم التأثر برؤيته وأفكاره.

وأوضح أن وحيد حامد اطلع على عدد من أفلامه الوثائقية، من بينها أعمال تناولت حسن البنا والجريمة السياسية، وأبدى إعجابه بها، قبل أن يطلب التعاون معه في مشروع درامي مستوحى من هذه القصة.
أعمال تامر محسن الجديدة
ويشارك تامر محسن في كتابة سيناريو مسلسل «بيبو»، بطولة الفنان المصري أحمد بحر “كزبرة”، المقرر عرضه في موسم دراما رمضان.
ويجمع المسلسل نخبة من النجوم، من بينهم هالة صدقي، سيد رجب، وئام مجدي، وليد فوز، إسلام إبراهيم، وآخرون، والعمل من تأليف تامر محسن وإخراج أحمد شفيق.

Tamer Mohsen spoke about the anxiety he experienced in his early steps in the field of directing, confirming that he sometimes doubted his abilities and considered stepping back, before some experiences and indicators gave him a sense of confidence and continuity, saying: “I was thinking of leaving directing.”

Mohsen pointed out that Wahid Hamid was one of his most prominent supporters, ensuring to check on him and follow his works, leaving a significant intellectual impact on him that made him constantly influenced by his vision and ideas.
His Documentaries Caught Wahid Hamid’s Attention
He explained that Wahid Hamid had viewed several of his documentaries, including works that addressed Hassan al-Banna and political crime, and expressed his admiration for them before requesting to collaborate with him on a dramatic project inspired by this story.
Tamer Mohsen’s New Works
Tamer Mohsen is participating in writing the script for the series “Bebo,” starring the Egyptian artist Ahmed Bahar “Kazbara,” which is set to be aired during the Ramadan drama season.
The series brings together a selection of stars, including Hala Sedky, Sayed Ragab, Wiam Magdy, Walid Fawzy, Islam Ibrahim, and others, and the work is written by Tamer Mohsen and directed by Ahmed Shafik.
