ارتفع سعر صرف الدولار الأمريكي -أو ما درج على تعريفه بـ«الأخضر» بين أوساط المتعاملين- مقابل الجنيه المصري خلال التعاملات، ليتجاوز مستوى 54 جنيهاً في البنوك المصرية للمرة الأولى في تاريخها.
وواصل الدولار ارتفاعه مقابل العملة المصرية خلال الأسبوع الجاري، وذلك بعد مكاسب كبيرة على مدار شهر مارس، في ظل ارتفاع وتيرة تخارج الأموال الساخنة من السوق الثانوية للدين الحكومي المصري مع اندلاع الحرب في إيران.
أعلى سعر
ووفق إحصاء أعدته «العربية Business»، جاء أعلى سعر لصرف الدولار الأمريكي في بنوك الأسكندرية والتجاري الدولي وفيصل الإسلامي وأبوظبي الأول و«نكست» وأبوظبي الإسلامي و«سايب» وقناة السويس عند مستوى 54.55 جنيه للشراء، مقابل 54.65 جنيه للبيع.
وجاء أقل سعر لصرف الدولار الأمريكي لدى بنك تنمية الصادرات عند مستوى 53.85 جنيه للشراء، مقابل 53.95 جنيه للبيع.
وفي بنوك الأهلي المصري والبركة ومصر وأبوظبي التجاري وكريدي أغريكول وميد بنك والمصرف العربي والمصري الخليجي سجل سعر الدولار 54.50 جنيه للشراء، مقابل 54.60 جنيه للبيع.
قفزة قياسية
ولدى البنك المركزي المصري، سجل سعر صرف الدولار الأمريكي مستوى 54.51 جنيه للشراء مقابل 54.65 جنيه للبيع.
وكان الجنيه المصري قد اختتم عام 2025 بأداء قوي، إذ ارتفع بنسبة 6.7% أمام الدولار منذ بداية العام الماضي، بدعم من القفزة القياسية في تحويلات المصريين العاملين بالخارج واستعادة السيولة في القطاع المصرفي.
ويتعرض الجنيه المصري لجملة ضغوط بسبب الحرب على إيران التي رفعت أسعار الطاقة لمستويات مرتفعة، ما دفع الحكومة لاتخاذ إجراءات لحماية استدامة تقديم الخدمات المتعلقة بالمشتقات النفطية والكهرباء.
The exchange rate of the US dollar – commonly referred to as “the green” among traders – has risen against the Egyptian pound during transactions, surpassing the level of 54 pounds in Egyptian banks for the first time in its history.
The dollar continued to rise against the Egyptian currency during this week, following significant gains throughout March, amid an increased outflow of hot money from the secondary market for Egyptian government debt with the outbreak of the war in Iran.
Highest Price
According to a report prepared by “Al Arabiya Business,” the highest exchange rate for the US dollar was recorded in Alexandria Bank, the Commercial International Bank, Faisal Islamic Bank, Abu Dhabi First, “Next,” Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, “SAB,” and Suez Canal Bank at a level of 54.55 pounds for buying, compared to 54.65 pounds for selling.
The lowest exchange rate for the US dollar was at Export Development Bank at a level of 53.85 pounds for buying, compared to 53.95 pounds for selling.
In the National Bank of Egypt, Al Baraka Bank, Bank Misr, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Crédit Agricole, Mid Bank, the Arab Bank, and the Gulf Egyptian Bank, the dollar price recorded 54.50 pounds for buying, compared to 54.60 pounds for selling.
Record Jump
At the Central Bank of Egypt, the exchange rate of the US dollar recorded a level of 54.51 pounds for buying compared to 54.65 pounds for selling.
The Egyptian pound had concluded the year 2025 with strong performance, having risen by 6.7% against the dollar since the beginning of last year, supported by a record jump in remittances from Egyptians working abroad and the recovery of liquidity in the banking sector.
The Egyptian pound is facing a series of pressures due to the war on Iran, which has raised energy prices to high levels, prompting the government to take measures to ensure the sustainability of services related to oil derivatives and electricity.
