أخبار لايت: عون: تدمير إسرائيل البنية التحتية اللبنانية تمهيد لغزو بري – أخبار السعودية

دان الرئيس اللبناني العماد جوزيف عون، اليوم (الأحد)، استهداف إسرائيل البنى التحتية والمنشآت الحيوية في جنوب لبنان وتدميرها، خصوصاً جسر القاسمية على نهر الليطاني، وغيره من الجسور.

وقال عون في بيان على حسابه في «إكس»: «إنّ هذه الاعتداءات تشكل تصعيداً خطيراً وانتهاكاً صارخاً لسيادة لبنان، وتعتبر مقدمة لغزو بري طالما حذّر لبنان عبر القنوات الدبلوماسية من الانجرار إليه»، مضيفاً: «تعكس هذه التوجهات جنوحاً خطيراً نحو التدمير الممنهج للبنى التحتية والمرافق المدنية والمناطق السكنية في القرى اللبنانية، بما يرقى إلى سياسة عقاب جماعي بحق المدنيين، وهو أمر مرفوض ومدان وغير مبرر ويخالف صراحةً قواعد القانون الدولي الإنساني التي تحظر استهداف المدنيين ومرافقهم الأساسية».

وأِشار الرئيس اللبناني إلى «أنّ استهداف جسور نهر الليطاني، الشريان الحيوي لحركة المدنيين، يُعدّ محاولة لقطع التواصل الجغرافي بين منطقة جنوب الليطاني وسائر الأراضي اللبنانية ويعيق وصول المساعدات الإنسانية، ويندرج ضمن مخططات مشبوهة لإقامة منطقة عازلة، وتثبيت واقع الاحتلال، والسعي إلى التوسع الإسرائيلي داخل الأراضي اللبنانية»، داعياً المجتمع الدولي، خصوصاً الأمم المتحدة وأعضاء مجلس الأمن، إلى تحمّل مسؤولياتهم واتخاذ إجراءات فورية لردع إسرائيل عن تنفيذ هذا الهجوم.

وأكد عون أن الاستمرار في الصمت أو التقاعس يُشجّع على التمادي في الانتهاكات ويُقوّض مصداقية المجتمع الدولي.

ميدانياً، استهدفت غارة إسرائيلية، اليوم، جسر القاسمية وهو احد أهم الجسور التي تربط الجنوب اللبناني بمحافظة صيدا والعاصمة بيروت.

ويعد الجسر «شريان الجنوب» الحيوي، ويربط بين قضائي بنت جبيل وصور وبين صيدا وبيروت، ويمر فوق نهر الليطاني على الأوتوستراد الساحلي، ويكتسب أهمية استراتيجية كبيرة كونه الحلقة الأساسية بين شمال النهر وجنوبه، ويقع بالقرب من الجسر الروماني التاريخي الذي يعود إلى القرن الثالث أو الرابع الميلادي.

The Lebanese President, General Joseph Aoun, condemned today (Sunday) Israel’s targeting and destruction of infrastructure and vital facilities in southern Lebanon, particularly the Qasmiyeh Bridge over the Litani River and other bridges.

Aoun stated in a message on his account on “X”: “These attacks constitute a serious escalation and a blatant violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty, and they represent a prelude to a ground invasion that Lebanon has long warned through diplomatic channels against being drawn into,” adding: “These trends reflect a dangerous drift towards the systematic destruction of infrastructure, civilian facilities, and residential areas in Lebanese villages, which amounts to a policy of collective punishment against civilians, an act that is rejected, condemned, and unjustified, and clearly contradicts the rules of international humanitarian law that prohibit targeting civilians and their essential facilities.”

The Lebanese President indicated that “the targeting of the bridges over the Litani River, a vital artery for civilian movement, is an attempt to sever the geographical connection between the southern Litani area and the rest of Lebanese territory, impeding the delivery of humanitarian aid, and falls within dubious plans to establish a buffer zone, entrench the reality of occupation, and seek Israeli expansion within Lebanese territory,” calling on the international community, particularly the United Nations and members of the Security Council, to assume their responsibilities and take immediate action to deter Israel from carrying out this attack.

Aoun emphasized that continuing silence or inaction encourages further violations and undermines the credibility of the international community.

On the ground, an Israeli airstrike today targeted the Qasmiyeh Bridge, one of the most important bridges connecting southern Lebanon with Sidon and the capital, Beirut.

The bridge is considered the vital “artery of the south,” linking the districts of Bint Jbeil and Tyre with Sidon and Beirut, passing over the Litani River on the coastal highway. It holds significant strategic importance as it is the main link between the north and south of the river and is located near the historic Roman bridge dating back to the 3rd or 4th century AD.

It is noted that Israeli airstrikes have destroyed the Tarblusieh – Zarariyah Bridge in recent days.
