في تطور أمني لافت، كشفت صحيفة «واشنطن بوست» أن مسؤولين أمريكيين رصدوا طائرات مسيّرة مجهولة الهوية تحلّق فوق قاعدة عسكرية في واشنطن يقيم فيها كل من وزير الخارجية ماركو روبيو ووزير الدفاع بيت هيجسيث، في وقت تعيش فيه الولايات المتحدة حال تأهب أمني مرتفع على خلفية الضربات العسكرية الأمريكية – الإسرائيلية ضد إيران.
مسيّرات فوق «حصن ماكنير»
وبحسب الصحيفة، قال مسؤولان مطلعان إن السلطات الأمريكية لم تتمكن حتى الآن من تحديد مصدر هذه الطائرات المسيّرة، فيما أكد أحدهما أن المؤسسة العسكرية تعمل على تقييم التهديدات المحتملة بدقة أكبر، مع تعزيز المراقبة واليقظة الأمنية في محيط المواقع الحساسة.
وأضاف المسؤول أن عدة طائرات مسيّرة رُصدت وهي تحلّق فوق «حصن ماكنير» خلال ليلة واحدة فقط، على مدار الأيام العشرة الماضية، ما دفع الجهات المعنية إلى تشديد التدابير الأمنية، وعقد اجتماع في البيت الأبيض لبحث آليات التعامل مع هذا التطور.
استنفار في قلب العاصمة
ويكتسب الحادث بعداً بالغ الحساسية نظراً إلى موقع القاعدة العسكرية داخل العاصمة الأمريكية، وارتباطها بإقامة مسؤولين من الصف الأول في الإدارة الأمريكية، الأمر الذي يرفع من مستوى القلق بشأن قدرة الطائرات المجهولة على الوصول إلى أجواء مواقع سيادية وعسكرية شديدة التحصين.
القلق يمتد إلى بريطانيا
ولم يقتصر القلق الأمني على واشنطن وحدها، إذ كانت تقارير أمريكية قد كشفت أيضاً عن رصد طائرات مسيّرة مجهولة فوق 3 قواعد جوية في شرق بريطانيا تستخدمها القوات الجوية الأمريكية، في حادثة أثارت تساؤلات واسعة بشأن اختراق المجال المحيط بمنشآت عسكرية تضم آلاف الجنود الأمريكيين.
رصد قرب 3 قواعد أمريكية
وأفادت القوات الجوية الأمريكية، في بيان نقلته «واشنطن بوست»، بأن عدة طائرات مسيّرة مجهولة شوهدت خلال الأسبوع الماضي قرب قواعد ليكنهيث وميدنهول وفيلتويل التابعة لسلاح الجو الملكي البريطاني، وجميعها تقع في شرق إنجلترا.
وبحسب التقرير، جرى رصد هذه المسيّرات خلال الفترة الممتدة من الأربعاء إلى الأحد، في محيط قواعد تستضيف آلاف العسكريين الأمريكيين، غالبيتهم من أفراد القوات الجوية، ما منح الحادثة أبعاداً أمنية إضافية.
تهديدات غير تقليدية
ويعكس تكرار رصد الطائرات المسيّرة المجهولة فوق منشآت عسكرية أمريكية في واشنطن وبريطانيا تصاعد المخاوف الغربية من التهديدات غير التقليدية، خصوصاً مع تنامي استخدام الطائرات غير المأهولة في مهام المراقبة وجمع المعلومات والتشويش، وصولاً إلى اختبار الجاهزية الأمنية حول المواقع الإستراتيجية.

Drones over “Fort McNair”
According to the newspaper, two informed officials stated that U.S. authorities have not yet been able to determine the source of these drones, while one of them confirmed that the military is working to assess potential threats more accurately, with increased surveillance and security vigilance around sensitive sites.
The official added that several drones were spotted flying over “Fort McNair” during just one night over the past ten days, prompting the relevant authorities to tighten security measures and hold a meeting at the White House to discuss how to address this development.
Alert in the Heart of the Capital
The incident takes on a highly sensitive dimension due to the location of the military base within the U.S. capital and its connection to the presence of top officials in the U.S. administration, raising concerns about the ability of unidentified drones to access the airspace of highly fortified sovereign and military sites.
Concerns Extend to Britain
Security concerns are not limited to Washington alone, as American reports have also revealed the detection of unidentified drones over three air bases in eastern Britain used by the U.S. Air Force, in an incident that raised widespread questions about breaches of the airspace surrounding military facilities housing thousands of American soldiers.
Spotted Near 3 American Bases
The U.S. Air Force reported, in a statement relayed by the Washington Post, that several unidentified drones were seen last week near the Lakenheath, Mildenhall, and Feltwell bases belonging to the Royal Air Force, all located in eastern England.
According to the report, these drones were spotted during the period from Wednesday to Sunday, around bases hosting thousands of American military personnel, mostly from the Air Force, which added additional security dimensions to the incident.
Unconventional Threats
The repeated sightings of unidentified drones over U.S. military facilities in Washington and Britain reflect the rising Western concerns about unconventional threats, especially with the increasing use of unmanned aircraft for surveillance, information gathering, and jamming, reaching the point of testing security readiness around strategic locations.
