بدايةً، لنتفق بأنني لا أفهم في السياسة شيئًا؛ بل إن الاستزادة فيها كثيرًا ما تزيدنا جهلًا على جهل… جهلًا محمودًا. فليس للسياسة دين ولا شريعة ولا مذهب؛ صديقك اليوم قد يصبح عدوك غدًا، والعكس صحيح تمامًا.

لكن لنتفق على أمرٍ آخر أكبر وأهم: أنني أعرف السعودية كما تعرفونها عزَّ المعرفة. أعرفها عزّ الصديق، وعزّ الأخ، وعزّ الأب، وعزّ الوطن… وكفى بذلك عزًا.

أعرفها في الشدة كما في الرخاء. فبرغم دخان الحروب المشتعلة في المنطقة، والسماء التي لم تصفُ بعد، أتأمل بحب وفخر لغة الدولة مع السعوديين والزوار، وكل من هو على أرض هذه البلاد العظيمة. لغة تطمين وأمن وحنو وأمان.

بدأت بكلمتين فقط: «صوموا آمنين»… كلمتان فيهما من الطمأنينة ما يزيدك فخرًا بهذه البلاد.

ثم «معززون مكرمون في بلادهم الثانية»، بما تحمله من نخوة وكرم للأحبة من دول الخليج العالقين في قلوبنا.

وتنتهي بعبارة: «الأوضاع مطمئنة في كل المملكة»… كل المملكة.

هذه دولة تخاف حتى على قلق من هم على أرضها، وتداري هواجسهم… وتحتضن خوفهم، فكيف بفزعهم، لا قدر الله؟

ليست مجرد لغة باذخة بالأمن والجمال، بل شعور يُعاش؛ تراه رأي العين

في تفاصيل الحياة اليومية في هذه البلاد

ولا شك أن للدولة في مثل هذه الظروف غرف قيادة وتحكم، وساعات سهر طويلة، وتأهبًا دائمًا، وتفكيرًا عميقًا، وتحليلات دقيقة، وترقبًا بالثانية لكل مستجد في المنطقة. ومع ذلك، تقول لك اللغة المستخدمة:

نم قرير العين… وخل السهر لعيون من حبّك.

ومع هذا الحنو في الخطاب، تبقى الدولة واضحة وصريحة حين يتعلق الأمر بأمنها. تتغير النبرة ويختلف الخطاب؛ فالمملكة تؤكد دائمًا حقها الكامل في اتخاذ كل ما يلزم لحماية أمنها وسلامة أراضيها ومواطنيها والمقيمين فيها ومصالحها الحيوية، بما في ذلك الرد على أي عدوان.

أخيرًا:

«يا موطني إنني أهواك في ولهٍ

يا نكهةً حلوةً تنساب في بدني»..

First, let’s agree that I don’t understand anything about politics; in fact, delving deeper into it often increases our ignorance upon ignorance… a commendable ignorance. Politics has no religion, no law, and no sect; your friend today may become your enemy tomorrow, and vice versa.

But let’s agree on another, greater, and more important matter: I know Saudi Arabia as well as you know it, with deep familiarity. I know it as a dear friend, a dear brother, a dear father, and a dear homeland… and that is enough honor.

I know it in hardship as well as in prosperity. Despite the smoke of the wars raging in the region, and the sky that has not yet cleared, I contemplate with love and pride the language of the state with Saudis and visitors, and everyone on the land of this great country. A language of reassurance, security, tenderness, and safety.

It began with just two words: “Feel safe while fasting”… two words that carry a reassurance that makes you even prouder of this country.

Then “honored and respected in their second homeland,” which carries a sense of pride and generosity for the loved ones from the Gulf countries who are dear to our hearts.

And it ends with the phrase: “The situation is reassuring throughout the Kingdom”… throughout the Kingdom.

This is a state that even cares for the concerns of those on its land, soothing their anxieties… and embracing their fears, so how about their panic, God forbid?

It is not just a language overflowing with security and beauty, but a feeling that is lived; you see it with your own eyes

in the details of daily life in this country.

There is no doubt that the state, in such circumstances, has command and control rooms, long hours of vigilance, constant readiness, deep thinking, precise analyses, and second-by-second monitoring of every development in the region. Yet, the language used tells you:

Sleep peacefully… and leave the watchfulness to those who love you.

With this tenderness in the discourse, the state remains clear and straightforward when it comes to its security. The tone changes and the discourse differs; the Kingdom always affirms its full right to take whatever measures necessary to protect its security, the safety of its territories, its citizens, residents, and vital interests, including responding to any aggression.

Finally:

“O my homeland, I adore you in passion

O sweet flavor that flows through my body”..
