في الوقت الذي تترقب فيه خريجات رياض الأطفال في المملكة إعلان وزارة التعليم الاحتياج الوظيفي السنوي، تفاجأن الخريجات بإعلان إدارة تعليم الطائف فتح باب التطوع للتدريس في مرحلة رياض الأطفال. وقد أثار هذا الإعلان موجة واسعة من الاستغراب بين الخريجات، لما يحمله من انعكاسات مباشرة على فرصهن الوظيفية التي انتظرنها لسنوات.

وأكدت الخريجات أن هذا التوجه يُعد إقصاءً غير مباشر لهن، ويُسهم في سد الاحتياج الفعلي بمتطوعات بدلًا من التوظيف الرسمي، رغم أنهن يحملن مؤهلات أكاديمية متخصصة في هذا المجال. كما أشرن إلى أن التطوع في مهنة التدريس — وهي مهنة تتطلب إعدادًا علميًا ومهنيًا — يفتح الباب أمام ممارسات قد تُضعف جودة العملية التعليمية وتُفقد الخريجات حقهن المشروع في التوظيف.

وقالت ريم. خ لـ «عكاظ» إحدى الخريجات إن إعلان التطوع يؤكد ما سبق أن حذّرن منه، وهو الاعتماد على غير المتخصصات لسد احتياج رياض الأطفال، مما ينعكس سلبًا على فرص التوظيف الرسمية. فيما عبّرت رانية محمد وخريجات أخريات عن إحباطهن من مطالبة المتخصصات بالعمل «مجانًا» رغم وجود احتياج واضح في الميدان، متسائلات: كيف يُطلب من خريجات مؤهلات العمل دون مقابل بينما لا تزال الوظائف الرسمية معلّقة؟

وترى الخريجات أن هذا التوجه قد يؤدي إلى تصفير الاحتياج على الورق، بينما الواقع يشير إلى حاجة فعلية لمعلمات متخصصات، خصوصا أن المتطوعات غير ملزمات بالاستمرار وقد يتركن العمل في أي وقت، مما يخلق فجوات تربوية داخل الصفوف.

وطالبن الخريجات من وزارة التعليم النظر في هذا القرار وإعادة تقييم آثاره على جودة التعليم وعلى مستقبل الخريجات، وفتح باب التوظيف الرسمي لتخصص رياض الأطفال، ومنحهن الفرصة التي انتظرنها لسنوات طويلة، وأنهن على ثقة أن الوزارة ستنظر في هذه القضية بعين المسؤولية، وستعمل على ضمان عدالة الفرص وتحقيق مصلحة الميدان التعليمي والطالبات والمعلمات على حد سواء.

At a time when kindergarten graduates in the Kingdom are awaiting the Ministry of Education’s announcement of the annual job needs, the graduates were surprised by the announcement from the Taif Education Administration opening the door for volunteering to teach in the kindergarten stage. This announcement has sparked a wide wave of astonishment among the graduates, due to its direct implications on their job opportunities that they have been waiting for years.

The graduates confirmed that this trend is considered an indirect exclusion for them and contributes to meeting the actual need with volunteers instead of formal employment, despite the fact that they hold specialized academic qualifications in this field. They also pointed out that volunteering in the teaching profession — which requires scientific and professional preparation — opens the door to practices that may weaken the quality of the educational process and deprive the graduates of their legitimate right to employment.

Reem K., one of the graduates, told “Okaz” that the announcement of volunteering confirms what they had previously warned about, which is relying on non-specialists to meet the needs of kindergartens, negatively impacting official employment opportunities. Meanwhile, Rania Mohammed and other graduates expressed their frustration at being asked to work “for free” despite the clear need in the field, questioning: How can graduates with qualifications be asked to work without compensation while official jobs remain suspended?

The graduates believe that this trend may lead to a zeroing out of the need on paper, while the reality indicates an actual need for specialized teachers, especially since volunteers are not obligated to continue and may leave the job at any time, creating educational gaps within the classrooms.

The graduates called on the Ministry of Education to reconsider this decision and reassess its effects on the quality of education and the future of the graduates, to open the door for official employment in the kindergarten specialization, and to grant them the opportunity they have been waiting for for many years. They are confident that the ministry will look at this issue with a sense of responsibility and will work to ensure fairness in opportunities and achieve the interests of the educational field, students, and teachers alike.
