أعلنت وزارة الداخلية في مملكة البحرين أن عدداً من المباني السكنية في العاصمة المنامة تعرّضت للاستهداف، مؤكدة أن فرق الدفاع المدني تواصل حالياً تأمين المواقع المتضررة وتنفيذ أعمال الإطفاء والإنقاذ.

وأوضحت الوزارة أنه سيتم موافاة الجمهور بالتفاصيل فور توافرها.

وأعربت البحرين عن إدانتها واستنكارها الشديدين للهجمات الصاروخية الإيرانية الغادرة على أراضي مملكة البحرين والمملكة العربية السعودية ودولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة ودولة قطر ودولة الكويت والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، في انتهاك صارخ لسيادتها وأمنها واستقرارها، وتهديد لأمن وسلامة وحياة المدنيين والمقيمين على أراضيها، واستخفاف بجميع القوانين والأعراف الدولية ومبادئ حسن الجوار.

وأشادت وزارة الخارجية بكفاءة منظومات الدفاع الجوي في مملكة البحرين والدول الشقيقة التي تصدت لعدد من الصواريخ وأسقطتها، بينما أصابت بعضها مواقع ومنشآت، مؤكدة أن القوات المسلحة الباسلة في هذه الدول على أهبة الاستعداد لردع أية هجمات تهدد أمن وسلامة الدول العربية الشقيقة وتنتهك سيادتها واستقلالها.

The Ministry of Interior in the Kingdom of Bahrain announced that a number of residential buildings in the capital, Manama, were targeted, confirming that civil defense teams are currently securing the affected sites and carrying out firefighting and rescue operations.

The ministry clarified that the public will be updated with details as soon as they become available.

Bahrain expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the treacherous Iranian missile attacks on the territories of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in a blatant violation of its sovereignty, security, and stability, and a threat to the safety and lives of civilians and residents on its territory, showing contempt for all international laws, norms, and principles of good neighborliness.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs praised the efficiency of the air defense systems in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the brotherly countries that intercepted and shot down several missiles, while some hit sites and facilities, affirming that the brave armed forces in these countries are on high alert to deter any attacks that threaten the security and safety of the brotherly Arab states and violate their sovereignty and independence.
