أجرى الرئيس المصري عبد الفتاح السيسي اتصالاً هاتفياً مع ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، اليوم السبت، إثر الاعتداء الإيرانيالسافر الذي استهدف أراضي المملكة.

وأوضح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية المصرية السفير محمد الشناوي، أن السيسي شدد خلال الاتصال على تضامن مصر مع المملكة العربية السعودية قيادةً وشعباً، مؤكداً أن أمن المملكة جزء لا يتجزأ من الأمن القومي العربي، وأن أي مساس بسيادة الدول العربية يمثل تهديداً مباشراً للاستقرار الإقليمي ويزيد من خطورة الأوضاع في المنطقة.

وأضاف الشناوي أن السيسي جدد التأكيد على ضرورة تكثيف الجهود الدولية والإقليمية لاحتواء التوتر، مشدداً على أن الحلول السياسية والدبلوماسية هي السبيل الأمثل لتجاوز الأزمات، وأن استمرار التصعيد العسكري لن يجلب سوى المزيد من المعاناة لشعوب المنطقة ويقوض فرص التنمية.

من جانبه، أعرب الأمير محمد بن سلمان عن تقديره لموقف مصر الداعم للمملكة، مشيداً بعمق العلاقات التاريخية والروابط الأخوية بين البلدين.

The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi made a phone call to the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, today, Saturday, following the blatant Iranian attack that targeted the territories of the Kingdom.

The official spokesperson for the Egyptian presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, explained that El-Sisi emphasized during the call Egypt’s solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, both leadership and people, affirming that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of Arab national security, and that any infringement on the sovereignty of Arab states represents a direct threat to regional stability and increases the dangers in the region.

El-Shenawy added that El-Sisi reiterated the necessity of intensifying international and regional efforts to contain the tension, stressing that political and diplomatic solutions are the best way to overcome crises, and that the continuation of military escalation will only bring more suffering to the peoples of the region and undermine development opportunities.

For his part, Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed his appreciation for Egypt’s supportive stance towards the Kingdom, praising the depth of the historical relations and brotherly ties between the two countries.
