توفي لاعب فريق سالوم السنغالي يوسو ضيوف، عقب نهاية مباراة فريقه أمام نظيرة امام نادي أميتية إف سي والتي انتهت بنتيجة سلبية ،والتي جمعتهما على أرضية ملعب مانيانغ سوماري في تييس، ضمن الجولة 16 للدوري المحلي، وأعلنت الرابطة السنغالية لكرة القدم وفاة،اللاعب « يوسو ضيوف»،في بيان رسمي أصدرته عبر موقعها الرسمي في منصة التواصل الاجتماعي«x»،جاء فيه:«إن اللاعب يوسو ضيوف، البالغ من العمر 25 ربيعاً ، شارك في اللقاء بديلا في الدقيقة 72 وبعد صافرة النهاية، تعرض لوعكة صحية مفاجئة أثناء تواجده على مقاعد البدلاء، ليتم الإعلان لاحقا عن وفاته»، كما أكدت الرابطة أن اللاعب لم يكن في حالة صيام وقت وقوع الحادثة، وتقدمت بتعازيها الخالصة لعائلة اللاعب، وكل أعضاء فريق سالوم.

After the final whistle, he suffered a sudden health crisis while on the bench, and it was later announced that he had passed away.” The federation also confirmed that the player was not fasting at the time of the incident and extended its heartfelt condolences to the player’s family and all members of the Saloum team.
