أعلنت قيادة القوات المشتركة للتحالف «تحالف دعم الشرعية في اليمن» إدانتها للهجوم الإرهابي الذي تعرض له موكب العميد حمدي شكري قائد الفرقة الثانية بقوات العمالقة مساء اليوم في عدن.

وأكد المتحدث باسم قوات التحالف اللواء الركن تركي المالكي أن «التحالف» سيضرب بيد من حديد محاولات استهداف العاصمة عدن وتقويض وحدة الصف.

وصرح المتحدث باسم قوات التحالف اللواء الركن تركي المالكي في بيان، بأن تحالف دعم الشرعية في اليمن يدين بأشد العبارات الهجوم الإرهابي الجبان الذي استهدف موكب العميد حمدي شكري قائد الفرقة الثانية بقوات العمالقة ومرافقيه في منطقة جعولة بمحافظة لحج مساء اليوم، الذي أودى بحياة عدد من الشهداء وأسفر عن سقوط عدد من الجرحى والمصابين، في عمل إجرامي يتنافى مع كل القيم الإنسانية والأخلاقية.

وأعرب «التحالف» عن خالص تعازيه ومواساته لأسر الشهداء، متمنياً الشفاء العاجل للجرحى والمصابين.

وأكد المالكي مواصلة «التحالف» تنسيقه مع الجهات المعنية لضمان أمن المواطنين، والحفاظ على الاستقرار، انطلاقاً من واجبه الإنساني والأخلاقي تجاه الشعب اليمني، ويدعو في الوقت ذاته إلى وحدة الصف ونبذ الخلافات، والعمل مع الحكومة والجهات الأمنية والعسكرية اليمنية للتصدي لأي محاولات تخريبية أو عمليات إرهابية تستهدف أمن واستقرار المحافظات المحررة خاصة والمجتمع اليمني عامة، وأنها لن تنجح في زعزعة السلم المجتمعي، مشدداً على أن التحالف لن يتوانى عن دوره في تعزيز الأمن والاستقرار.

كما أكد اللواء المالكي التزام «التحالف» بدعم الجهود الأمنية اليمنية لملاحقة المتورطين في هذا العمل الإجرامي وتقديمهم للعدالة، واستمرار دعمه الثابت للقوات الأمنية والعسكرية، مشدداً على ضرورة تضافر الجهود المحلية والدولية لمكافحة الإرهاب وتجفيف منابعه الفكرية والمالية.

واختتم اللواء المالكي تصريحه بالتأكيد على دعوة التحالف لوحدة الصف وتغليب الحكمة، وأنه سيضرب بيد من حديد كل من يحاول استهداف عدن والمحافظات المحررة أو المساس بأمن وسلامة المجتمع بفئاته كافة.

Al-Maliki confirmed the coalition’s continued coordination with the relevant authorities to ensure the safety of citizens and maintain stability, based on its humanitarian and moral duty towards the Yemeni people, while simultaneously calling for unity and the rejection of disputes, and working with the Yemeni government and security and military authorities to confront any sabotage attempts or terrorist operations targeting the security and stability of the liberated governorates in particular and the Yemeni community in general, emphasizing that they will not succeed in undermining societal peace, and stressing that the coalition will not hesitate in its role to enhance security and stability.

Major General Al-Maliki also affirmed the coalition’s commitment to supporting Yemeni security efforts to pursue those involved in this criminal act and bring them to justice, and its continued steadfast support for security and military forces, emphasizing the necessity of combining local and international efforts to combat terrorism and dry up its intellectual and financial sources.

Al-Maliki concluded his statement by reiterating the coalition’s call for unity and the prioritization of wisdom, and that it will strike with an iron fist against anyone who attempts to target Aden and the liberated governorates or threaten the security and safety of the community in all its segments.
