حسمت وزيرة الثقافة المصرية الدكتورة جيهان زكي، الجدل المثار خلال الساعات الماضية، بشأن ما تردد عن اقتراب تولي الفنان المصري خالد النبوي رئاسة مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي خلفاً للفنان المصري حسين فهمي.
نفي رسمي
أكدت وزيرة الثقافة في تصريح خاص لـ«عكاظ» أن هذه الأنباء غير صحيحة، مشددة على أن ما يتم تداوله عبر منصات التواصل الاجتماعي في هذا الإطار لا يمت للحقيقة بصلة.
حسين فهمي مستمر في منصبه
وأوضحت أن الفنان حسين فهمي، الذي تولى رئاسة مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي منذ 2022 مع انطلاق الدورة الـ44، لا يزال مستمراً في منصبه حتى الآن، مؤكدة عدم وجود أي تغييرات مطروحة في هذا الشأن خلال الفترة الحالية.
جدل دون تأكيد
وكانت قد ترددت خلال الساعات الماضية أنباء حول تعيين الفنان خالد النبوي رئيساً لمهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي، خلفاً للفنان حسين فهمي، دون صدور أي تأكيد رسمي، ما أثار حالة من الجدل والتساؤلات بين المتابعين.
السفر إلى مهرجان كان
ومن ناحية أخرى، يتوجه حسين فهمي خلال الأيام القادمة لحضور فعاليات مهرجان كان السينمائي، المقرر إقامتها في الفترة من 13 إلى 24 مايو، في إطار الاستعدادات الخاصة بالدورة الجديدة من مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي.

The Minister of Culture confirmed in a special statement to “Okaz” that this news is not true, emphasizing that what is being circulated on social media in this regard has no basis in reality.

She clarified that the artist Hussein Fahmy, who has been the president of the Cairo International Film Festival since 2022 with the launch of its 44th edition, is still continuing in his position, confirming that there are no changes proposed in this regard at the present time.
Controversy Without Confirmation
In recent hours, there were rumors about appointing the artist Khaled Nabawy as the president of the Cairo International Film Festival, succeeding the artist Hussein Fahmy, without any official confirmation, which sparked a state of controversy and questions among followers.
Traveling to the Cannes Festival
On another note, Hussein Fahmy is set to attend the Cannes Film Festival events in the coming days, scheduled to take place from May 13 to 24, as part of the preparations for the new edition of the Cairo International Film Festival.
