ترمب: قادرون على السيطرة على مضيق هرمز – أخبار السعودية
وسط أنباء عن وصول 50000 جندي أمريكي إلى الشرق الأوسط، لوّح الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب اليوم (الأحد)، بالسيطرة على مضيق هرمز الذي تغلقه إيران.
وقال ترمب للقناة 14 الإسرائيلية: قادرون على السيطرة على مضيق هرمز ونعمل بالفعل على ذلك، موضحاً أن التنسيق بين بلاده وإسرائيل وثيق للغاية.
وأضاف ترمب: لدينا علاقات جيدة مع إسرائيل ولا يمكن أن تكون أفضل من ذلك، لافتاً إلى أن الضغوط على النظام في طهران بدأت تؤتي ثمارها.
وأشار إلى أن «إيران ترغب بشدة في التوصل لاتفاق وهي تتوسل فعلاً، وأي طرف يتعرض للتدمير سيرغب بصفقة».
تزامنت تصريحات ترمب في الوقت الذي قال الجيش الإسرائيلي إن أكثر من 150 طائرة مقاتلة هاجمت مواقع إنتاج الأسلحة بطهران خلال 24 ساعة.
وأضاف: نفذنا هجمات على مواقع لتخزين وإطلاق الصواريخ البالستية بطهران ومواقع لتطوير مكونات للصواريخ البالستية، موضحاً أن مقاتلاته ألقت بأكثر من 120 قنبلة على مواقع إنتاج الأسلحة في طهران.
وأشار إلى أنهم يواصلون قصف الصناعات العسكرية في طهران.
وكانت الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية قد أشارت إلى أن محطة خنداب النووية بإيران لا تحتوي على أي مواد نووية معلنة، مؤكدة تعرضها لأضرار بالغة ولم تعد تعمل.
وكانت وسائل إعلام إيرانية قد قالت إن قصفاً استهدف منطقة آزادي غرب طهران.
Amid reports of 50,000 American soldiers arriving in the Middle East, U.S. President Donald Trump today (Sunday) hinted at controlling the Strait of Hormuz, which is blocked by Iran.
Trump told Israeli Channel 14: “We are capable of controlling the Strait of Hormuz and we are actually working on that,” explaining that the coordination between his country and Israel is extremely close.
He added: “We have good relations with Israel and they couldn’t be better,” noting that the pressure on the regime in Tehran is beginning to bear fruit.
He pointed out that “Iran is very eager to reach an agreement and is actually begging, and any party that is facing destruction will want a deal.”
Trump’s statements coincided with the Israeli army saying that more than 150 fighter jets attacked weapons production sites in Tehran within 24 hours.
He added: “We carried out attacks on sites for storing and launching ballistic missiles in Tehran and sites for developing components for ballistic missiles,” explaining that his fighters dropped more than 120 bombs on weapons production sites in Tehran.
He noted that they continue to bombard military industries in Tehran.
The International Atomic Energy Agency had indicated that the Khondab nuclear facility in Iran does not contain any declared nuclear materials, confirming that it has suffered severe damage and is no longer operational.
Iranian media had reported that shelling targeted the Azadi area west of Tehran.
