أخبار لايت: متطوعو الجوف يزرعون الأمل… ويظللون الطرق بالأشجار – أخبار السعودية

انطلاقاً من دور المكتب الإستراتيجي لتطوير منطقة الجوف في دعم المبادرات البيئية وتعزيز جودة الحياة، نظم المكتب حملة تطوعية لإطلاق مبادرة التشجير في مدينة سكاكا، وذلك بحضور الدكتورة أمل شقير، نائب الرئيس التنفيذي لقطاع التنمية الاجتماعية والثقافة في المكتب.

وشارك في الحملة عدد من الجهات والقطاعات غير الربحية، إلى جانب متطوعين من أفراد المجتمع؛ بهدف توفير التظليل الطبيعي على الطرق والأحياء المحيطة، وتعزيز استخدام الحلول البيئية المستدامة في المنطقة.

وتهدف المبادرة إلى تنفيذ برنامج تشجير حضري منظم يسهم في تحسين المشهد الحضري وزيادة المسطحات الخضراء، بما ينعكس إيجاباً على جودة الحياة والاستدامة البيئية، إضافة إلى تشجيع أفراد المجتمع على المشاركة الفاعلة في المبادرات البيئية التطوعية.

In line with the strategic office’s role in developing the Al-Jouf region to support environmental initiatives and enhance quality of life, the office organized a volunteer campaign to launch a tree-planting initiative in the city of Sakaka, attended by Dr. Amal Shaqir, the Deputy CEO for the Social Development and Culture Sector at the office.

Several non-profit organizations and sectors participated in the campaign, along with volunteers from the community, aiming to provide natural shading along roads and surrounding neighborhoods, and to promote the use of sustainable environmental solutions in the region.

The initiative aims to implement an organized urban tree-planting program that contributes to improving the urban landscape and increasing green spaces, positively reflecting on quality of life and environmental sustainability, in addition to encouraging community members to actively participate in volunteer environmental initiatives.
