دولة تسعى للسيطرة على ارتفاع أسعار الأرز.. فرضت سقفاً لـ 30 يوماً – أخبار السعودية
أقر مجلس حكومي في الفلبين معني بتنسيق الأسعار خطة لفرض سقف سعري قدره 50 بيزو (0.83 دولار) للكيلوغرام على الأرز المستورد، في ظل استمرار حرب إيران وارتفاع أسعار الغذاء والوقود.
ويظل هذا الحد المقترح، المدعوم من المجلس الوطني لتنسيق الأسعار، بانتظار موافقة الرئيس فرديناند ماركوس جونيور، وفقاً لما أعلنته وزارة الزراعة.
منع الاستغلال
وقالت الوزارة في بيان صدر اليوم: «الإجراء يأتي كتدخل للحد من ارتفاع أسعار أهم سلعة غذائية في البلاد». وأكدت أن السقف السعري يستهدف كبح الزيادات غير المبررة في الأسعار، ومنع أي ممارسات استغلالية في السوق.
وأوضحت الوزارة أن القرار سيشمل الأرز المستورد، الذي يحتوي على 5% من الحبوب المكسورة، على أن يُطبق لمدة 30 يوماً.
ويُعد الأرز من السلع الغذائية الأساسية، إذ يمثل قرابة عُشر سلة الاستهلاك في الدولة الواقعة بجنوب شرق آسيا.
The Philippine government council responsible for price coordination has approved a plan to impose a price ceiling of 50 pesos ($0.83) per kilogram on imported rice, amid the ongoing war in Iran and rising food and fuel prices.
This proposed limit, supported by the National Price Coordination Council, is awaiting approval from President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., according to the Department of Agriculture.
Preventing Exploitation
The department stated in a statement released today: “The measure comes as an intervention to curb the rising prices of the country’s most important food commodity.” It emphasized that the price ceiling aims to restrain unjustified price increases and prevent any exploitative practices in the market.
The department clarified that the decision will include imported rice that contains 5% broken grains, and it will be implemented for a duration of 30 days.
Rice is considered a staple food commodity, representing nearly one-tenth of the consumption basket in the Southeast Asian nation.
