كشفت وسائل إعلام أمريكية اليوم (الثلاثاء)، قلق رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو من إبرام الرئيس ترمب اتفاقاً لا يحقق أهداف إسرائيل، ويتضمن تنازلات كبيرة.

ونقل موقع «أكسيوس» الأمريكي، عن مصدر إسرائيلي قوله: واشنطن ووسطاء إقليميون ينتظرون رد إيران بشأن إمكانية عقد محادثات سلام هذا الخميس، مضيفاً: نتنياهو يتخوف من أي اتفاق قد يحد من قدرة تل أبيب على شن ضربات ضد إيران.

ولفت المصدر إلى أن قادة إسرائيل يشككون في أن إيران قد عرضت بالفعل تقديم تنازلات كما تقول الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.

وكانت «البيت الأبيض»، قد قال في وقت سابق، إن احتمال إجراء محادثات بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران لا يزال غير محسوم، واصفاً الوضع بأنه «متقلب».

وأكدت المتحدثة باسم البيت الأبيض كارولين ليفيت، في ردها على سؤال بشأن احتمال مشاركة الولايات المتحدة في محادثات دبلوماسية، أن «هذه مناقشات دبلوماسية حساسة، والولايات المتحدة لن تتفاوض عبر وسائل الإعلام»، مضيفة: «الوضع متقلب، ولا ينبغي اعتبار التكهنات بشأن الاجتماعات نهائية حتى يتم الإعلان عنها رسمياً من قبل البيت الأبيض».

ميدانياً، أعلنت القيادة المركزية الأمريكية تدمير أكثر من 9000 هدف عسكري داخل الأراضي الإيرانية منذ بدء العمليات العسكرية، مؤكدة في بيان أنها نجحت في «إزالة القدرة القتالية للنظام بشكل كبير».

American media revealed today (Tuesday) the concern of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding President Trump’s potential agreement that does not meet Israel’s objectives and includes significant concessions.

The American website “Axios” reported, citing an Israeli source, that Washington and regional mediators are awaiting Iran’s response regarding the possibility of holding peace talks this Thursday, adding that Netanyahu fears any agreement that might limit Tel Aviv’s ability to launch strikes against Iran.

The source noted that Israeli leaders are skeptical that Iran has actually offered concessions as the United States claims.

The White House had previously stated that the possibility of talks between the United States and Iran remains undecided, describing the situation as “volatile.”

White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt confirmed in response to a question about the possibility of U.S. participation in diplomatic talks that “these are sensitive diplomatic discussions, and the United States will not negotiate through the media,” adding: “The situation is volatile, and speculation about meetings should not be considered final until officially announced by the White House.”

On the ground, the U.S. Central Command announced the destruction of more than 9,000 military targets within Iranian territory since the beginning of military operations, confirming in a statement that it has significantly “reduced the combat capability of the regime.”
