لوّح الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، اليوم (الأحد)، بتصعيد عسكري جديد تجاه إيران، مشيراً إلى أن القوات الأمريكية ستبدأ في تدمير أكبر محطات الطاقة الإيرانية إذا لم يتم فتح مضيق هرمز بالكامل خلال 48 ساعة.

وشدد ترمب على أن الولايات المتحدة «دمرت إيران بالكامل»، مؤكداً أن واشنطن تمكنت من تحقيق أهدافها قبل الموعد المحدد.

وفي منشور عبر منصة «تروث سوشيال»، ردّ على انتقادات نشرتها صحيفة نيويورك تايمز قائلاً: «الولايات المتحدة دمرت إيران بالكامل، ومع ذلك يقول محللهم الضعيف ديفيد سانجر إنني لم أحقق أهدافي. نعم، لقد حققت ذلك، وقبل أسابيع من الموعد المحدد».

وأضاف: «قيادتهم انتهت، وبحريتهم وقواتهم الجوية انتهت، وليس لديهم أي دفاع على الإطلاق، وهم يريدون إبرام صفقة، وأنا لا أريد».

وتابع ترمب: «نحن متقدمون على الجدول بأسابيع، وكما كانت تغطيتهم الانتخابية غير الكفؤة لي، فإن صحيفة نيويورك تايمز الفاشلة دائماً ما تخطئ».

U.S. President Donald Trump hinted today (Sunday) at a new military escalation against Iran, indicating that American forces will begin to destroy Iran’s largest power plants if the Strait of Hormuz is not fully opened within 48 hours.

Trump emphasized that the United States has “completely destroyed Iran,” asserting that Washington has managed to achieve its goals ahead of schedule.

In a post on the “Truth Social” platform, he responded to criticisms published by The New York Times, saying: “The United States has completely destroyed Iran, yet their weak analyst David Sanger says I haven’t achieved my goals. Yes, I did, and weeks ahead of schedule.”

He added: “Their leadership is over, and their navy and air force are finished, and they have no defense at all, and they want to make a deal, but I do not want to.”

Trump continued: “We are ahead of schedule by weeks, and just as their incompetent election coverage of me, The New York Times always gets it wrong.”
