أعربت مملكة البحرين عن إدانتها واستنكارها الشديدين للهجوم الإيراني الإرهابي الذي استهدف مصفاتي ميناءي الأحمدي وعبدالله التابعتين لمؤسسة البترول الكويتية في دولة الكويت، معتبرةً إياه تصعيدًا خطيرًا يهدد الأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي، وانتهاكًا صارخًا لمبادئ القانون الدولي وحسن الجوار، وخرقًا لقرار مجلس الأمن الدولي رقم (2817).

وأكدت وزارة الخارجية البحرينية تضامن مملكة البحرين الكامل مع دولة الكويت، ودعمها التام لكافة الإجراءات التي تتخذها للحفاظ على سيادتها وأمنها واستقرارها، معربةً عن تقديرها لكفاءة الأجهزة الأمنية والاستخباراتية الكويتية ويقظتها في كشف خلايا إرهابية تابعة لمنظمة «حزب الله» الإرهابية المحظورة وإحباط مخططاتها التخريبية الآثمة في زعزعة الاستقرار واستهداف منشآت حيوية، متمنيةً لدولة الكويت وشعبها الشقيق دوام الأمن والاستقرار والازدهار.

وجددت دعوتها للمجتمع الدولي، لاسيما مجلس الأمن الدولي، إلى الاضطلاع بمسؤولياته في اتخاذ مواقف وإجراءات حازمة إزاء ما تقوم به الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية من هجمات عدائية غير مبررة تستهدف المدنيين والمنشآت المدنية والاقتصادية والنفطية والحيوية في دول المنطقة، وتهديداتها بإغلاق أو عرقلة الملاحة البحرية الدولية، مع ضرورة التزامها بالقانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني، بما يحفظ السلم والأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي والدولي.

The Kingdom of Bahrain expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the Iranian terrorist attack that targeted the refineries of the Ahmad and Abdullah ports, which belong to the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation in the State of Kuwait, considering it a serious escalation that threatens regional security and stability, a blatant violation of the principles of international law and good neighborliness, and a breach of United Nations Security Council Resolution No. (2817).

The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s full solidarity with the State of Kuwait and its complete support for all measures taken to preserve its sovereignty, security, and stability, expressing appreciation for the efficiency of the Kuwaiti security and intelligence agencies and their vigilance in uncovering terrorist cells affiliated with the banned terrorist organization “Hezbollah” and thwarting their malicious destructive plans to destabilize and target vital facilities, wishing the State of Kuwait and its brotherly people lasting security, stability, and prosperity.

It renewed its call to the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to assume its responsibilities in taking firm positions and actions regarding the unjustified hostile attacks carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran targeting civilians and civil, economic, oil, and vital facilities in the region, as well as its threats to close or disrupt international maritime navigation, while emphasizing the necessity of its commitment to international law and international humanitarian law, in order to preserve regional and international peace, security, and stability.
