«غولدمان ساكس»: صدمة النفط تؤثر على «المكررة» أكثر من الخام – أخبار السعودية
توقع بنك «غولدمان ساكس» أن يكون لأكبر صدمة في سوق النفط على الإطلاق والناجمة عن الحرب في الشرق الأوسط، تأثير أكبر على منتجات مثل وقود الطائرات والديزل مقارنة بالنفط الخام.
وأوضح محللان لدى البنك في مذكرة نقلتها «بلومبيرغ»، أن ارتفاع أسعار العديد من المنتجات المكررة بشكل ملحوظ مقارنة بالنفط الخام. وأشارا إلى أن الاضطرابات الحادة التي شهدتها إمدادات ما يسمى بالنفط الخام المتوسط-الثقيل تُنذر بخطر انخفاض إنتاج الديزل ووقود الطائرات وزيت الوقود.
ارتفاع أكبر
وبينا أن النفط الخام المتوسط والثقيل (المستخدم عادة في إنتاج وقود الطائرات والديزل وزيت الوقود) يشكل نحو 60% من صادرات الخام المعتادة من الخليج العربي، في حين أن البدائل المتاحة خارج الشرق الأوسط محدودة للغاية.
ورغم ارتفاع أسعار النفط بأكثر من 40% منذ بدء الحرب، إلا أن بعض المنتجات شهدت ارتفاعًا أكبر، إذ تضاعفت تكاليف الوقود تقريبًا في أجزاء من آسيا، وانضمت كوريا الجنوبية إلى الصين وتايلند في فرض قيود على الصادرات لحماية الأسواق المحلية.
Goldman Sachs expects that the largest shock to the oil market ever, caused by the war in the Middle East, will have a greater impact on products such as jet fuel and diesel compared to crude oil.
Two analysts at the bank explained in a note reported by Bloomberg that the prices of many refined products have risen significantly compared to crude oil. They pointed out that the severe disruptions in the supply of what is known as medium-heavy crude oil signal a risk of reduced production of diesel, jet fuel, and fuel oil.
Greater Increase
They noted that medium and heavy crude oil (commonly used in the production of jet fuel, diesel, and fuel oil) accounts for about 60% of the usual crude exports from the Arabian Gulf, while the available alternatives outside the Middle East are extremely limited.
Despite oil prices rising by more than 40% since the start of the war, some products have seen even greater increases, as fuel costs have nearly doubled in parts of Asia, with South Korea joining China and Thailand in imposing export restrictions to protect local markets.
