أعلنت القنصلية العامة الروسية في مدينة أصفهان الإيرانية، اليوم (الأحد)، تعليق أعمالها بشكل مؤقت بسبب الوضع الأمني الحالي بإيران، في خطوة تأتي بعد أيام قليلة من تضرر مبنى القنصلية جراء غارات جوية استهدفت المدينة في 8 مارس الجاري.

وجاء في إعلان رسمي نشرته القنصلية عبر قنواتها الرسمية ووزارة الخارجية الروسية: «بسبب الظروف الراهنة، تقرر تعليق عمل القنصلية العامة الروسية في أصفهان مؤقتاً، سيتم الإعلان عن استئناف النشاط لاحقاً، نرجو من المواطنين الروس التواصل مع السفارة في طهران في حالات الطوارئ».

وأكدت مصادر دبلوماسية روسية أن القرار جاء احترازياً بعد الأضرار التي لحقت بالمبنى من تحطم نوافذ المكاتب والشقق السكنية، نتيجة استهداف مبنى الإدارة المحلية المجاور في المدينة بموجة الانفجار، مشيرة إلى أن التصعيد العسكري المستمر يجعل استمرار العمل الروتيني غير آمن حالياً.

وكانت المتحدثة باسم وزارة الخارجية الروسية ماريا زاخاروفا قد أكدت في 10 مارس أن القنصلية تعرضت لأضرار نتيجة هجوم على مكتب محافظة أصفهان المجاور، واصفة الحادثة بأنها «انتهاك صارخ للاتفاقيات الدولية»، مطالبة جميع الأطراف باحترام حرمة المنشآت الدبلوماسية.

وتعد أصفهان واحدة من أكبر المدن الإيرانية ومركزاً صناعياً وعسكرياً رئيسياً وتتواجد بها مصانع صواريخ، ومنشآت نووية سابقة مثل نطنز، وقواعد جوية، مما جعلها هدفاً متكرراً في الغارات الجوية الأمريكية-الإسرائيلية منذ بدء التصعيد العسكري الواسع ضد إيران.

The Russian Consulate General in the Iranian city of Isfahan announced today (Sunday) the temporary suspension of its operations due to the current security situation in Iran, a move that comes just a few days after the consulate building was damaged by airstrikes targeting the city on March 8.

An official announcement published by the consulate through its official channels and the Russian Foreign Ministry stated: “Due to the current circumstances, it has been decided to temporarily suspend the work of the Russian Consulate General in Isfahan. An announcement regarding the resumption of activities will be made later. We ask Russian citizens to contact the embassy in Tehran in case of emergencies.”

Russian diplomatic sources confirmed that the decision was precautionary following the damage to the building from shattered windows in the offices and residential apartments, as a result of the explosion wave targeting the adjacent local administration building in the city, noting that the ongoing military escalation makes routine operations unsafe at this time.

Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, had confirmed on March 10 that the consulate had sustained damage due to an attack on the adjacent governor’s office, describing the incident as a “flagrant violation of international agreements,” and calling on all parties to respect the sanctity of diplomatic facilities.

Isfahan is one of the largest cities in Iran and a major industrial and military center, housing missile factories, former nuclear facilities such as Natanz, and air bases, making it a recurring target in American-Israeli airstrikes since the onset of the extensive military escalation against Iran.
