ونشر الحساب الرسمي لنادي الفتح صورة لمدرب الفريق وهو يرفع إشارة الإعجاب، مرفقة بعبارة قصيرة جاء فيها: «أحسنتم»، رداً على تغريدة الحساب الرسمي لنادي الهلال التي تضمنت البيان الذي أصدره الفريق العاصمي بعد المباراة. وكان الهلال قد نشر بيانًا إعلاميًا تحدث فيه عن عدد من الحالات التحكيمية التي شهدتها المواجهة، مطالبًا بمراجعتها، وذلك عقب اللقاء الذي انتهى بفوزه على الفتح بنتيجة (1-0).

وأثار رد الفتح تفاعلًا واسعًا بين الجماهير عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، حيث تداول المتابعون المنشور بشكل كبير، واعتبره البعض ردًا ساخرًا على بيان الهلال وما صاحبه من جدل حول القرارات التحكيمية في المباراة.

The official account of Al-Fateh Club posted a picture of the team’s coach giving a thumbs up, accompanied by a short phrase that read: “Well done,” in response to a tweet from the official account of Al-Hilal Club that included the statement issued by the capital team after the match. Al-Hilal had published a press statement discussing several refereeing situations that occurred during the match, calling for them to be reviewed, following the game that ended with their victory over Al-Fateh with a score of (1-0).

Al-Fateh’s response sparked widespread interaction among fans on social media, as followers shared the post extensively, with some considering it a sarcastic reply to Al-Hilal’s statement and the accompanying controversy over the refereeing decisions in the match.
