علق مدرب تشيلسي ليام روسينيور على تسريب التشكيلة الأساسية لفريقه قبل ساعات من مواجهة باريس سان جيرمان التي أقيمت مساء (الأربعاء)، ضمن منافسات ذهاب الدور ثمن النهائي من مسابقة دوري أبطال أوروبا.
وسقط تشيلسي أمام حامل لقب النسخة الماضية من دوري الأبطال بخمسة أهداف مقابل هدفين، لتصبح مهمته في التأهل إلى الدور القادم صعبة للغاية.
وبسؤاله حول تسريب تشكيلة تشيلسي قبل نحو ثماني ساعات من مواجهة باريس سان جيرمان، قال روسينيور عقب الخسارة: «لم أكن على علم بذلك».
وأضاف: «أنا متأكد من أننا سنصل إلى حقيقة الأمر إذا كان هذا هو الحال، هذه الأمور تحدث كثيراً هذه الأيام».
موعد لقاء الإياب
ويستضيف تشيلسي نظيره باريس سان جيرمان الثلاثاء القادم على ملعب «ستامفورد بريدج»، لحسم المتأهل إلى ربع النهائي.
Chelsea coach Liam Rosenior commented on the leak of his team’s starting lineup just hours before the match against Paris Saint-Germain, which took place on Wednesday evening, as part of the first leg of the Round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League.
Chelsea fell to the defending champions of last season’s Champions League, losing five goals to two, making their task of qualifying for the next round extremely difficult.
When asked about the leak of Chelsea’s lineup about eight hours before the match against Paris Saint-Germain, Rosenior said after the loss: “I was not aware of that.”
He added: “I am sure we will get to the bottom of it if that is the case; these things happen a lot these days.”
Return Match Date
Chelsea will host Paris Saint-Germain next Tuesday at Stamford Bridge to determine who advances to the quarter-finals.
