أعلن رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو، أمس (الثلاثاء)، تخصيص ميزانية خاصة للإنفاق على الحرب مع إيران.

وأوضح نتنياهو إن إسرائيل سيكون لديها «ميزانية خاصة» لتخصيص عشرات المليارات من الشيكل للإنفاق الدفاعي لتمويل الحرب على إيران، فيما ذكر وزير المالية الإسرائيلي بتسلئيل سموتريتش أن مجلس الوزراء يعقد اجتماعاً الآن للموافقة على ميزانية الحرب.

وأفادت وكالة «بلومبيرغ» أن حكومة نتنياهو تعتزم زيادة الميزانية بمقدار 13 مليار دولار لتمويل الحرب على إيران.

بدوره، رفض الرئيس الإسرائيلي إسحاق هرتسوغ تقديم جدول زمني لانتهاء الحرب مع إيران، مؤكداً في تصريحات لصحيفة بيلد الألمانية «أنهم بحاجة إلى أخذ نفس عميق لكي يصلون إلى النتيجة النهائية».

وقال هرتسوغ: «الهجمات الأمريكية والإسرائيلية على إيران تغيّر شكل الشرق الأوسط برمته»، معتبراً أن ‌الضربات على مواقع النفط الإيرانية وسيلة لسلب أموال «آلة الحرب» في ‌طهران، على حد زعمه.

واتهم الرئيس الإسرائيلي الإيرانيين بنشر الفوضى والإرهاب في جميع أنحاء ⁠المنطقة والعالم، مؤكداً أن القضاء على التهديد الإيراني «سيمكن النظام ‌بأكمله في المنطقة من التنفس مرة أخرى فجأة والتطور أكثر وهذا أمر رائع».

وكان وزير الخارجية الإسرائيلي جدعون ساعر قد قال في ⁠وقت سابق ‌إن إسرائيل لا تخطط لحرب لا نهاية ⁠لها، وتُجري مشاورات مع الولايات المتحدة حول موعد ⁠إنهائها.

بالمقابل، تتهم إيران إسرائيل بقتل 4 من دبلوماسييها في السفارة الإيرانية ببيروت. ونقلت وسائل ‌إعلام إيرانية عن سفير إيران لدى الأمم المتحدة أمير سعيد إيرواني قوله إن هجوماً إسرائيلياً قتل ‌4 دبلوماسيين إيرانيين في لبنان (الأحد).

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced yesterday (Tuesday) the allocation of a special budget for spending on the war with Iran.

Netanyahu explained that Israel will have a “special budget” to allocate tens of billions of shekels for defense spending to finance the war against Iran, while Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich mentioned that the Cabinet is currently holding a meeting to approve the war budget.

Bloomberg reported that Netanyahu’s government intends to increase the budget by $13 billion to finance the war against Iran.

For his part, Israeli President Isaac Herzog refused to provide a timeline for the end of the war with Iran, emphasizing in statements to the German newspaper Bild that “they need to take a deep breath to reach the final outcome.”

Herzog stated: “The American and Israeli attacks on Iran are changing the entire shape of the Middle East,” considering that strikes on Iranian oil sites are a means to deprive the “war machine” in Tehran of funds, according to his claims.

The Israeli president accused the Iranians of spreading chaos and terrorism throughout the region and the world, asserting that eliminating the Iranian threat “will suddenly allow the entire system in the region to breathe again and develop more, which is wonderful.”

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar had previously stated that Israel does not plan for a never-ending war and is consulting with the United States about when to end it.

In contrast, Iran accuses Israel of killing four of its diplomats at the Iranian embassy in Beirut. Iranian media quoted Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations, Amir Saeed Iravani, as saying that an Israeli attack killed four Iranian diplomats in Lebanon (on Sunday).
