قال المحاضر الآسيوي الدكتور يحيى جابر في حديثه لـ«عكاظ»، إن الأهلي سيدخل المباراة بأسلوب يعتمد على الضغط العالي والاستحواذ المنظم، حيث إن يايسله يفضل خطة 4-2-3-1، والتي تمنح الفريق السيطرة في وسط الملعب مع خيارات هجومية متنوعة، فيما سيبدأ الأهلي بناء اللعب من الخلف عبر قلبي الدفاع إيبانيز وديميرال والحارس ميندي، مع تحرك لاعبي الوسط خصوصاً كيسيه لتشكيل مثلثات تمرير تساعد على الخروج بالكرة تحت ضغط المنافس، وفي الأطراف، يعتمد الفريق على مهارات لاعب الجناح الجزائري رياض محرز، والذي يمتلك القدرة على اختراق الخطوط الدفاعية وصناعة الفرص للمهاجمين، وفي وسط الملعب، سيلعب الإيفواري فرانك كيسييه دورًا محوريًا، ويجمع بين القوة البدنية والقدرة على افتكاك الكرة وبناء الهجمات، وسيعتمد الفريق على تقدم الظهيرين لخلق زيادة عددية على الأطراف، ما يسمح لمحرز بالتحرك نحو العمق وفتح المساحات أمام المهاجمين، دفاعيًا، يطبق الأهلي أسلوب الضغط العكسي، أي محاولة استعادة الكرة فور فقدانها، ما يمنح الفريق السيطرة على إيقاع المباراة.
