عبَّر اللاعب السعودي سعود عبدالحميد، المحترف في صفوف فريق لانس الفرنسي، عن سعادته بتأهل

فريقه إلى نصف كأس فرنسا بعد فوزه على ليون بركلات الترجيح 5/4 بعد تعادلهما في الأشواط الأصلية بهدفين لكل منهما في اللقاء الذي جمعهما على ملعب جروباما ضمن لقاءات الدور ربع النهائي للمسابقة، حيث قال عبر تغريدة في موقع «x»: «الحمد لله على التوفيق. اليوم حققنا مع زملائي في نادي لانس خطوة مهمة نحو أحد أبرز أهدافي منذ بداية رحلة الاحتراف في أوروبا، وما زال الأهم قادمًا»، وأضاف: «أسعى لتحقيق أول ألقابي هنا، وإسعاد جماهير لانس وكل من يدعمني في وطني الغالي. شكرًا لكم على مشاعركم ودعمكم المستمر… وبإذن الله نواصل حتى نحقق ما نطمح إليه».

وكان سعود عبدالحميد وضع بصمته مبكراً بعد أن قاد هجمة منظمة، وسدد كرة قوية عجز الحارس ديسكامب عن الإمساك بها، لتصل للاعب فلوران توفين ليسكنها الشباك كهدف أول لفريق لانس (د: 22)، وقبل نهاية الشوط الأول أضاف لانس الهدف الثاني عن طريق عبدالله ديبو سيما (د: 45+1)، ولكن فريق ليون عاد في الشوط الثاني وتمكن من تقليص النتيجة عن طريق رومان ياريمتشوك (د: 67)، وفي الوقت القاتل أدرك زميله ريمي هيمبرت التعادل بتسجيله الهدف الثاني لليون (د: 90+4)، لتتجه المباراة مباشرةً لركلات الترجيح.

ورغم أن سعود عبدالحميد كان ثاني المسددين لفريق لانس إلا أنه سددها بثقة في الزاوية العليا على يمين الحارس ديسكامب، كما نجح زملاؤه في التسجيل وهم: ريان فوفانا، ماثيو ادول، مامادو سانغاري، فلوران توفين، فيما أضاع لاعب ليون موسى نياخات ركلة ترجيحية لينتصر لانس 7/6 (2/2)، ويتأهل لنصف نهائي كأس فرنسا، ليضرب موعداً مع تولوز الأربعاء الموافق 22 أبريل.

Thank you for your feelings and continuous support… God willing, we will continue until we achieve what we aspire to.”

Saud Abdulhamid made his mark early by leading an organized attack and taking a powerful shot that the goalkeeper Descamps failed to catch, allowing the ball to reach player Florian Thauvin, who scored the first goal for Lens (22nd minute). Before the end of the first half, Lens added a second goal through Abdullah Diop Sima (45+1 minute), but Lyon came back in the second half and managed to reduce the score through Roman Yaremchuk (67th minute). In the dying moments, his teammate Remy Hebert equalized by scoring Lyon’s second goal (90+4 minute), leading the match directly to penalties.

Although Saud Abdulhamid was the second shooter for Lens, he confidently shot it into the upper corner to the right of goalkeeper Descamps. His teammates also succeeded in scoring: Ryan Fofana, Mathieu Adol, Mamadou Sangare, and Florian Thauvin, while Lyon player Moussa Nyaqat missed a penalty, allowing Lens to win 7-6 (2-2) and qualify for the semi-finals of the French Cup, setting up a match against Toulouse on Wednesday, April 22.
