ارتفعت أسعار النفط اليوم الخميس مع استمرار تعطّل تدفقات الخام والغاز عبر مضيق هرمز، ما عزز المخاوف بشأن شح المعروض في الأسواق العالمية.

وصعد خام برنت (1.67) دولار، أو 2.05 بالمئة، إلى (83.07) دولار للبرميل، كما ارتفع خام غرب تكساس الوسيط الأمريكي 1.94 دولار، أو 2.60 بالمئة، إلى (76.60) دولار.

ويأتي ذلك في ظل خفض إنتاج بعض المنشآت وتكدس مئات الناقلات في المنطقة، إضافة إلى توقّعات باستمرار اضطرابات الإمدادات في المدى القريب، ما يدعم بقاء الأسعار عند مستويات مرتفعة.

Oil prices rose today, Thursday, as the disruption of crude and gas flows through the Strait of Hormuz continues, which has heightened concerns about supply shortages in global markets.

Brent crude increased by $1.67, or 2.05 percent, to $83.07 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate crude rose by $1.94, or 2.60 percent, to $76.60.

This comes amid production cuts from some facilities and the accumulation of hundreds of tankers in the region, along with expectations of continued supply disruptions in the near term, supporting the maintenance of prices at elevated levels.
