أعلنت قوات العمالقة الجنوبية اليوم (الأربعاء) عن ضبط قارب تهريب قادم من ميناء بندر عباس الإيراني ومتجهاً نحو ميناء الصليف الذي يسيطر عليه الحوثي.

وقال مصدر في الحملة الأمنية، التابعة لقوات العمالقة الجنوبية: إن دورية بحرية ضبطت قارب تهريب بعد عملية رصد استخباراتية، موضحاً أن القارب يبلغ طوله أكثر من 20 متراً، يحمل شحنة مكونة من 3،000 كرتون من الأدوية غير مصرح دخولها.

وأشار المصدر لـ”عكاظ” إلى أن القوات تمكنت من إلقاء القبض على 5 بحارة كانوا على متنه وجميعهم من أبناء محافظة الحديدة يعملون لصالح الحوثي وإيران.

وقال المصدر: البحارة الذين كانوا على متن القارب، أقروا أثناء التحقيق أن القارب انطلق من ميناء بندر عباس الإيراني وكان متجهاً إلى ميناء الصليف بمحافظة الحديدة، الذي يقع تحت سيطرة الحوثي.

وأوضح المصدر، أن القوات قامت بتحريز المضبوطات ونقل البحارة المهربين للحجز واستكمال التحقيقات، تمهيدًا لنقلهم إلى الجهات المختصة لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة.

وأشاد عضو مجلس القيادة الرئاسي اليمني، عبدالرحمن المحرمي أبو زرعة بهذا الإنجاز الأمني، الذي حققته قوات الحملة الأمنية لقوات العمالقة الجنوبية، مشددًا على ضرورة بذل المزيد من الجهود في سبيل تأمين السواحل، ومكافحة عمليات التهريب، ومنع وصول المهربات إلى الحوثي والجماعات الإرهابية.

The Southern Giants Forces announced today (Wednesday) the seizure of a smuggling boat coming from the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas and heading towards the Al-Salif port controlled by the Houthis.

A source in the security campaign, affiliated with the Southern Giants Forces, stated that a naval patrol intercepted the smuggling boat after an intelligence monitoring operation, explaining that the boat is over 20 meters long and carries a shipment of 3,000 cartons of unauthorized medicines.

The source indicated to “Okaz” that the forces managed to arrest 5 sailors who were on board, all of whom are from Al-Hudaydah governorate and work for the Houthis and Iran.

The source said: The sailors who were on the boat admitted during the investigation that the boat had departed from the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas and was heading to Al-Salif port in Al-Hudaydah governorate, which is under Houthi control.

The source clarified that the forces secured the seized items and transferred the smuggled sailors for detention and further investigations, in preparation for their transfer to the relevant authorities to take the necessary legal actions.

A member of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Abdulrahman Al-Mahrami Abu Zar’ah, praised this security achievement accomplished by the security campaign of the Southern Giants Forces, emphasizing the need for more efforts to secure the coasts, combat smuggling operations, and prevent the smuggled goods from reaching the Houthis and terrorist groups.
