أخبار لايت: هجمات إيران تهدد الاستقرار الإقليمي والسلم والأمن الدوليين – أخبار السعودية

أعربت السعودية، نيابةً عن المجموعة العربية، عن إدانتها بأشد العبارات الاعتداءات والهجمات الإيرانية التي استهدفت دول قطر، والكويت، والإمارات العربية المتحدة، ومملكة البحرين، والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، والسعودية، وسلطنة عمان.

وأكدت أن هذه الاعتداءات تعد انتهاكاً جسيماً للقانون الدولي، ومخالفةً صريحةً لميثاق الأمم المتحدة، واعتداءً مباشراً على سيادة الدول وسلامة أراضيها.

جاء ذلك خلال مشاركة السعودية في بيان ألقاه المندوب الدائم لدى الأمم المتحدة والمنظمات الدولية في جنيف السفير عبدالمحسن بن خثيلة، بالنيابة عن المجموعة العربية، في النقاش العام تحت البند الثاني، وذلك ضمن أعمال الدورة الحادية والستين لمجلس حقوق الإنسان في جنيف.

وأكدت المملكة أن هذا الاستهداف يُمثل انتهاكاً خطيراً للقانون الدولي الإنساني والقانون الدولي لحقوق الإنسان، ويهدد الاستقرار الإقليمي والسلم والأمن الدوليين. وشدّدت على أن هذه الهجمات تأتي في وقت كانت فيه دول عربية تبذل جهوداً مكثفة للوساطة وخفض التصعيد وتغليب الحلول السياسية والحوار، الأمر الذي يجعل هذا التصعيد غير مبرر ويقوض المساعي الرامية إلى تحقيق الأمن والاستقرار.

Saudi Arabia, on behalf of the Arab group, expressed its strongest condemnation of the Iranian attacks and assaults targeting the countries of Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the Sultanate of Oman.

It affirmed that these assaults constitute a serious violation of international law, a blatant breach of the United Nations Charter, and a direct assault on the sovereignty of states and the integrity of their territories.

This came during Saudi Arabia’s participation in a statement delivered by the Permanent Representative to the United Nations and international organizations in Geneva, Ambassador Abdul Mohsen bin Khtaila, on behalf of the Arab group, in the general discussion under item two, as part of the 61st session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva.

The Kingdom emphasized that this targeting represents a serious violation of international humanitarian law and international human rights law, threatening regional stability and international peace and security. It stressed that these attacks come at a time when Arab countries were making intensive efforts for mediation, de-escalation, and prioritizing political solutions and dialogue, which makes this escalation unjustified and undermines efforts aimed at achieving security and stability.
